Abstract

Siswa tunalaras belum memiliki gambaran yang cukup jelas mengenai karier setelah lulus dari sekolah, karena langkah utama dalam merencana karier yaitu mampu mawas diri atau menilai diri sendiri, sedangkan siswa tunalaras belum memiliki kemampuan untuk menilai dirinya sendiri. Siswa tunalaras juga cenderung kurang peduli atau acuh terhadap masa depan yang pada akhirnya membuat siswa kebingungan akan rencana karier setelah lulus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rencana karier siswa kelas XII di SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta, serta faktor dominan yang melatarbelakangi rencana karier tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas XII yang berjumlah tiga orang siswa di SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti untuk menghimpun data yakni dengan melakukan observasi di awal, wawancara secara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan peneliti yaitu analisis selama di lapangan Model Miles and Huberman diantaranya pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan menarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa rencana karier siswa tunalaras di SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta kurang dapat tergambarkan dengan jelas, tetapi sudah memiliki cita-cita yang yang cukup jelas. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi cita-cita siswa tunalaras yaitu profesi keluarga dekat, melihat sosok yang berprofesi sewaktu kecil, dan minat yang dijadikan karier. Rekomendasi dalam merencanakan karier siswa tunalaras harus melibatkan guru, khususnya guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta orangtua atau keluarga agar terdapat kesamaan dan kejelasan bagi siswa tunalaras. ; Students of tunalaras not yet have a fairly clear picture of the career after graduating from the school, as a major step in a career plan that is capable of introspection or self a judgment, while students of tunalaras not have the ability to assess themselves. Tunalaras students also tend to be less caring or indifferent to the future, which in turn will create confusion student's career plans after graduation. This study aims to determine the class XII students plan careers in SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta, as well as the dominant factor behind the career plan. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The research subject is class XII totaling three students in SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta. The data collection technique by researchers to gather data that is by observation in the early, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis used the analysis for researchers in the field Model Miles and Huberman including data collection, data reduction, data display, and danced the conclusions /verification. The results of this study illustrate that the student's career plan tunalaras in SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta less can be portrayed clearly, but own ideals are quite clear. Factors behind the ideals of students tunalaras is profession of close family, saw a figure who worked as a child, and the interest is used as a career. Recommendations in planning career for tunalaras students should involve teachers, especially guidance and counseling teachers, as well as parents or family so that there is equality and clarity for students tunalaras.
