Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya sekolah yang belum memenuhi standar sarana dan prasarana praktik yang di atur dalam peraturan menteri pendidikan nasional nomor 40 tahun 2008, diantaranya di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung yang belum memenuhi standar rasio luas ruang praktik dan rasio antara jumlah peralatan praktik dengan jumlah siswa yang praktik pemeliharaan mesin kendaraan ringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersedian sarana dan prasarana praktik pada mata pelajaran pemeliharaan mesin kendaraan ringan di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan instrumen observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik kendaran ringan memiliki rasio perbandingan antara luas ruangan dengan jumlah siswa yang paling kecil diantara kompetensi keahlian yang lainnya. Tingkat ketersedian area kerja mesin sebesar 55%, area kerja kelistrikan sebesar 36%, area kerja chasis sebesar 39%, Ruang penyimpanan peralatan dan bahan sebesar 121%, ruang instruktur sebesar 84% sehingga dikategorikan kurang layak karena hanya area penyimpanan peralatan dan bahan sebesar yang sudah memenuhi standar. Tingkat ketersedian sarana praktik sebesar 91 % sehingga dikategorikan sangat layak. Rasio jumlah alat praktik yang tersedia dengan jumlah siswa pada mata pelajaran pemeliharaan mesin kendaraan ringan di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung sebesar 56% sehingga dikategorikan kurang layak. Kata Kunci : Eksplorasi, Sarana dan Prasarana Praktik This research is motivated by still many schools that do not meet the standard of facilities and infrastructure practices set in national education ministerial decree number 40 of 2008, including at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung who do not meet the standard ratio of the practice room and the ratio between of equipment the practice with the number of students who practice machine maintenance light vehicles. This study aims to determine the availability of facilities and infrastructure maintenance practices on subjects engine light vehicles in SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive method with instruments of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the technique of light vehicles have a ratio between the area of the room with the smallest number of students competency skills among others. The level of availability of the machine working area by 55%, electricity work area by 36%, chassis work area by 39%, Storage space equipment and materials amounted to 121%, the instructor space by 84% and categorizing them less feasible because only areas that meet the standard. Availability level of 91% means the practice of categorizing them very decent. The ratio of the number of new instruments provided by the number of students on the subjects of machine maintenance and light vehicles in SMK Negeri 6 Bandung by 56% and categorizing them less viable.
