Abstract

This paper aims to examine the use of method tree maps in teaching reading skill in French at high school, and to obtain information about its advantages and disadvantages the used of this method in learning French. Through the application of this media, it it can be expected that students would be motivated to practice and to read the French language in accordance with the themes in the syllabus of the French language in schools. The results of study indicated that the method tree maps can be implemented in learning the French language through learning scenarios that have been developed to assist teachers in providing instructional along with how to use them. ;--- Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan metode pohon kata dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis bahasa Perancis di sekolah menengah (SMA), dan untuk memperoleh perihal kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan metode ini dalam pembelajaran Perancis. melalui penerapan madia ini diharapkan siswa dapat termotivikasi untuk berlatih dan menulis bahasa Perancis sesuai dengan tema-tema pada silabus bahasa Perancis di SMA. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa metode pohon kata dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Perancis melalui sekenario pembelajaran yang telah di susun guna membanntu guru dalam penyediaan media pembelajaran yang telah disusun disertai dengan cara penggunaannya.
