Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat penguasaan siswa mengenai konsep komponen semikonduktor. Konsep komponen semikonduktor merupakan pengetahuan dasar mengenai bahan semikonduktor, macam-macam komponen elektronika yang terbuat dari semikonduktor serta karakteristik dari komponen semikonduktor tersebut. Penguasaan konsep materi ini diperlukan siswa karena pada tingkat selanjutnya, siswa akan mempelajari materi yang berhubungan dengan komponen semikonduktor, sehingga penting bagi siswa untuk menguasai konsep tersebut. Sampel penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Audio Video (TEAV) 1 Tahun Ajar 2015/2016 yang mengikuti mata pelajaran Penerapan Rangkaian Elektronika yang diambil secara acak dari hasil wawancara awal kepada 32 orang siswa, sehingga dipilihlah sebanyak 13 orang sebagai sample penelitian. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan triangulasi sumber data untuk menguji keabsahan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penguasaan konsep komponen semikonduktor yang dihubungkan dengan kompetensi dasar yang harus dicapai, subjek dianggap belum sepenuhnya menguasai konsep komponen semikonduktor. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari analisis butir soal dimana masih terdapat subjek yang lupa atau tidak dapat menjawab sama sekali pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan konsep komponen semikonduktor. Dari 13 subjek yang dijadikan sample, hanya tiga orang saja yang dianggap memiliki penguasaan konsep komponen semikonduktor yang cukup baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari cara subjek menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan peneliti dimana hampir semua jawaban subjek mendekati jawaban yang diinginkan. Sedangkan 10 orang lainnya memiliki tingkat penguasaan konsep komponen semikonduktor yang kurang dimana nilai yang diperoleh subjek dibawah batas kelulusan artinya dalam penilaian kurikulum 2013 dinyatakan tidak memenuhi nilai ketuntasan kemampuan kognitif. Kata Kunci: penguasaan konsep, komponen semikonduktor This study was conducted to determine the level of student mastery of the concept semiconductor components. The concept of the semiconductor component is a basic knowledge of semiconductor materials, all kinds of electronic components made of semiconductors as well as the characteristics of the semiconductor components. This material concept mastery required of students for the next level, students will learn the material associated with semiconductor components, so it is important for students to master the concept. Sample studies were conducted in class XI student of Engineering Program Audio Video (TEAV) 1 year 2015/2016 Subjects who followed the subjects Application of Electronic Networks drawn at random from the initial interview to 32 students, so that as many as 13 people were chosen as research samples. The method used in this study used qualitative methods with triangulation of data sources to test the validity of the data. Based on this research, the mastery of the concept of semiconductor components connected to the basic competencies that must be achieved, the subject is considered not fully mastered the concept of semiconductor components. It can be seen from the analysis of items where they are subject to forget or can’t answer at all questions related to the concept of semiconductor components. Of the 13 subjects sampled, only three people are thought to have mastery of the concept of semiconductor components are quite good. This can be seen from the way the subject answered questions asked by the researcher where almost all the answers subjects approaching the desired answer. While 10 others had a level of mastery of concepts that are less semiconductor components in which the values obtained below the pass mark means the subject in the curriculum assessment in 2013 revealed did not abide by the mastery of cognitive ability.
