Abstract
Penelitian ini tentang hubungan disiplin dan motivasi kerja guru dengan kinerja guru dalam mengajar. Proses pembelajaran yang baik merupakan faktor yang dapat menentukan perolehan belajar siswa, maka dari itu kinerja mengajar dari seorang guru sangat diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Beberapa faktor yang dapat menentukan baik atau tidaknya kinerja guru dalam mengajar adalah disiplin dan motivasi kerja guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif disiplin dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru IPS dalam mengajar di Madrasah Ibtidiyah Sekecamatan Karangpawitan Kabupaten Garut. (2) Ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif disiplin dengan kinerja guru IPS dalam mengajar di Madrasah Ibtidiyah Sekecamatan Karangpawitan Kabupaten Garut. (3) Ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru IPS dalam mengajar di Madrasah Ibtidiyah Sekecamatan Karangpawitan Kabupaten Garut. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan banyaknya sampel 120 orang guru. Instrumen yang disusun dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 butir dari tiga variable. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara disiplin dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dalam mengajar dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = a + b1X1 + b2X2 = 37.726 + 0.058X1 + 0.503X2 dan koefisien korelasi ry12 0,548 nilai probabilitas (sig. F change) = 0.000. Karena nilai sig. F change 0.000 < 0.05, maka keputusannya adalah Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya secara simultan disiplin dan motivasi kerja berhubungan positif dengan kinerja guru dalam mengajar di Madrasah Ibtidiyah Sekecamatan Karangpawitan Kabupaten Garut. Besarnya kontribusi variable disiplin dan motivasi kerja sebesar 30% terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sedangkan sisanya sebesar 70% merupakan kontribusi dari variable lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini;--- This research talking about the correlation between work discipline and motivation with the teacher’s teaching performance. Good learning process is a factor that can determine the acquisition of student learning, and therefore the performance of a teacher teaching is indispensable in the learning process. Some of the factors that can determine the performance of teachers in teaching are the discipline and motivation of teachers. The purpose of this study were (1) wanted to know whether there is a positive relationship with the discipline and motivation to work performance in teaching social studies teacher at Madrasah Ibtidiyah in Karangpawitan Sub District of Garut District. (2) Want to find out if there is a positive relationship with a disciplined performance in teaching social studies teacher at Madrasah Ibtidiyah in Karangpawitan Sub District of Garut District. (3) Want to find out if there is a positive correlation with the performance of work motivation in teaching social studies teacher at Madrasah Ibtidiyah in Karangpawitan Sub District of Garut District. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a number of samples of 120 teachers. The instrument prepared in this study as many as 60 grains of three variables. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the discipline and motivation to work on the performance of teachers in teaching the regression equation y = a + b1x1 + b2X2 = 37 726 + 0.058X1 + 0.503X2 and the correlation coefficient 0.548 ry12 probability value (sig. F change) = 0.000. Because sig. F change 0.000 <0.05, then the decision is Ho rejected and Ha accepted. That is simultaneously the discipline and motivation to work positively related to the performance of teachers in teaching in the Madrasah Ibtidiyah in Karangpawitan Sub District of Garut District. The amount of the contribution of variable-discipline and motivation to work for 30% of the teaching performance of teachers while the remaining 70% is contributed by other variables not examined in this study.
