Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan media flash card terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab beberapa rumusan masalah khusus,yaitu (1)Apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek kosakata antara sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model induktif kata bergambar dengan berbantuan media flash card?; (2)Apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek tata bahasa antara sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model induktif kata bergambar dengan berbantuan media flash card?; (3)Apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek ejaan antara sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model induktif kata bergambar dengan berbantuan media flash card?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group time series design. Populasi penelitian adalah SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan clucter sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes uraian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas one sample kolmogorov sirnov dan uji hipotesis one sample t-tes. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dan analisis, kesimpulan umum pada penelitian ini adalah model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan media flash card efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris. Adapun kesimpulan khusus adalah (1) penerapan model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan media flash card efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek kosakata; (2) penerapan model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan media flash card efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek tata bahasa; (3) penerapan model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan media flash card efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris pada aspek ejaan. ;---This research aims to know the effectiveness of Implementation of The Picture Word Inductive Model By Media Flash Card For Improving English Writing Skill Of Students. This research was conducted to answer several research problems, which are (1) Is there a different skill of english writing on the aspect of vocabulary before and after the picture word inductive model applied by media flash card ?; (2) Is there a different skill of english writing on the aspect of grammar before and after the picture word inductive model applied by media flash card ?; (3) Is there a different skill of english writing on the aspect of mechanics before and after the picture word inductive model applied by media flash card ?. This research used quasi experimental method with one group time series design. The study population were students of class VII SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung. Technique of removal sample used cluster sampling. Instrument that used in this research is non-objective test (essay). Technique of data analysis used in this research is normality test one sample kolmogorov sirnov and hypotesist testing one sample t-test. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, the conclusion of this research is the picture word inductive model by media flash card is effective for improvement of english writing skill of students. The conclusion is the implementation of the picture word inductive model by media flash card is (1) effective for improvement of english writing skill on the aspects vocabulary;(2) effective for improvement of english writing skill on the aspects grammar;(3) effective for improvement of english writing skill on the aspects mechanics.
