Abstract

Pembelajaran teacher centered diyakini menjadikan siswa memiliki penguasaan konsep yang lemah. Peneliti mencoba menerapkan pembelajaran student centered berupa pembelajaran tutor sebaya berbasis PDEODE. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep pada materi fluida dinamis. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu SMAN di Bandung Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment, dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group desgin. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan cara insidental. Sampel penelitian dilakukan pada dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 17 siswa dan kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes konsep bentuk four tier test dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan melalui analisis tes yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis gain dinormasilasi , sedangkan analisis data non-tes menggunakan persentase lembar observasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran tutor sebaya berbasis PDEODE dapat meningkatkan penguasan konsep fluida dinamis siswa dengan nilai n-gain 0,5 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,1 untuk kelas kontrol. ;---Teacher centered convinced make student’s mastery concept low. Researcher try for preparing student centered learning by peer teaching based PDEODE. The aim of this research is for knowing the improvement of student’s mastery concept at dynamic fluids topic pada materi fluida dinamis. This research is held at one state senior high school at West Bandung. The method of this research is quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design as research design. Sample of this research was taken incidentally. There are two class as sample for this research, control class with 17 students and experiment class with 21 students. Data was collected by conceptual test which have four tier, or we can call it with four tier test and observation guidance page. Analysis data which used was normalized gain analysis or we can call it n gain whereas non tes data analysis did by using percentage of observation guidance page. The result of data analysis show that peer teaching based PDEODE can improve student’s dynamic fluids mastery concept with n-gain score is 0,5 for experiment class and 0,1 for controll class.
