Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pengaruh metode acting Stanislavski terhadap kemampuan bermain drama ini dilakukan di kelas ekstrakurikuler teater SMAN 1 Telukjambe Timur Karawang tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan bermain drama peserta IPA dan IPS dengan menggunakan metode acting Stanislavski. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain faktorial. Dikarenakan peserta ekstrakurikuler teater berasal dari berbagai latar kelas, maka peneliti mengambil latar kelas (IPA dan IPS) sebagai variabel moderator. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui tes unjuk kerja bermain drama, dokumentasi, dan wawancara untuk mengetahui tanggapan observer terhadap pelatihan drama dengan menggunakan metode Acting Stanislavski. Dari hasil uji t, hasil kemampuan acting kelas IPS mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas IPA yang menunjukan sig = 0,015 < α =0,05, menyatakan bahwa ditolak. Dengan demikian kemampuan peserta IPS lebih unggul dibandingkan peserta IPA. Hal ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan pola pikir dan kebiasaan antara siswa kelas IPA dan IPS. Kemampuan bermain drama membutuh kerja otak kanan yang lebih dominan dibandingkan dengan kerja otak kiri, karena bermain drama termasuk ke dalam pembelajaran seni dimana bidang seni berada pada kawasan kemampuan kerja otak kanan. Sedangkan kemampuan logika yang identik dilakukan oleh siswa IPA berada pada kawasan kerja otak kiri. Itu sebabnya dalam hal kemampuan bermain drama, peserta ekstrakurikuler teater yang berlatar IPS lebih unggul dari peserta ekstrakurikuler teater yang berlatar IPA.;--- Research on the influence of method acting ability to play Stanislavski participants in extracurricular drama theatre this poem done in class extracurricular theatre SMAN 1 Telukjambe Timur Karawang the school year 2015/2016. Stanislavski method acting influence on the ability to play drama theatre participants extracurricular science and social studies. This study aims to determine the ability of participants to play drama science and social studies using the Stanislavski acting method. This study uses a quasi experimental factorial design. Due to the extracurricular theater participants come from all walks of classes, the researchers took the class background (IPA and IPS) as a moderator variable. The research data was collected through performance tests play drama, documentation, and interviews to determine the response of the observer drama training using the Stanislavski acting method. From the results of the t test, the results of social studies class acting ability has increased significantly compared to the science class that show sig = 0.015 <α = 0.05, stating that H_0 rejected. Thus the ability of participants IPS superior IPA participants. This shows the difference in mindset and habits among students in grade science and social studies. The ability to do plays are in need of work right brain is more dominant than the left brain work, because playing drama included into learning the art where art is present within the working ability of the right brain. While the ability of the identical logic performed by students working IPA is present within the left hemisphere. That's why in terms of ability to play drama, theater extracurricular participants who set IPS superior extracurricular participants IPA theater background.
