    Abstract

    Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya
    kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang terjadi pada kegiatan pada pembelajaran
    IPS kelas VII-B SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir
    kreatif akan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran, karena di dalam
    proses pembelajaran perlu adanya kemampuan berpikir untuk menyerap
    informasi. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan
    melalui penggunaan media video untuk melatih siswa berpikir kreatif. Adapun
    tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki permasalahan terkait rendahnya
    kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah
    metode Penelitian Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak empat
    siklus, dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua tindakan. Adapun prosedur penelitian
    yang dilakukan meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan
    refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-B SMP Pasundan 4
    Bandung. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar wawancara,
    lembar observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang
    digunakan adalah data kualitatif, data kuantitatif deskriptif dan validasi data. Hasil
    penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus pertama, kemampuan siswa dalam
    membuat media media video baru mencapai kategori “Cukup”, kemudian pada
    siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, sehingga hasil yang
    diperoleh menjadi masuk kedalam rentang nilai kategori “Baik” kemudian pada
    siklus ketiga naik kembali termasuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Baik”, Dan pada
    siklus keempat masih dalam kategori”Sangat Baik”. Peneliti berasumsi penelitian
    sudah jenuh, sehingga penelitian ini dihentikan. Sebagai simpulan pembahasan
    dalam penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan media video dalam pembelajaran IPS
    dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.;---The issue became a study in this research is having not optimal creative
    thinking abilities of students that occurred on learning activities at junior high
    school 4 Pasundan Bandung class VII-B Social Science. Low ability to think
    creatively will affect of success of learning, because of the learning process needs
    their thinking ability to absorb information. This prompted the researchers to
    make changes and improvements through the use of video media to train students
    to think creatively. The purpose of this study was to fix problems related to
    students' lack of ability to think creatively. This research used method of research
    class (PTK). This research was conducted as many as four cycles, and each cycle
    consists of two acts. The research procedures performed include: planning,
    execution, observation, analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of
    junior high school 4 Pasundan Bandung class VII-B Social Science. While the
    instrument used was the questionnaire form, observation form, field notes and
    documentation. The data technique analyzed using the qualitative data,
    quantitative data and descriptive data validation. The result of the data analysis
    revealed that in the first cycle, the student's ability in making media video media
    only reaches the category of "Enough", and then in the second cycle has
    increased significantly, so that the results be entered into the value range
    categories "Good" and then in the third cycle increase into the category of "Very
    Good", and in the fourth cycle is still in the category of "Very Good". Researchers
    assume the study is already saturated, so that the study be stopped. In conclusion
    of the discussion in this study that the use of video in teaching Social media can
    improve students' ability to think creatively.
