Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kekhawatiran akan lunturnya kebudayaan Sunda di Jawa Barat, dimana arus modernisasi tidak dapat dihindari oleh semua lapisan masyarakat, salah satu cirinya yakni kemajuan teknologi lebih cepat dari kemajuan nilai-nilai dan budaya. Di salah satu Kota di Jawa Barat, yakni Kota Bandung telah terdapat program khusus untuk melestarikan kebudayaan Sunda, yaitu Program Rebo Nyunda dimana pada hari rabu seluruh masyarakat Bandung, khususnya pelajar dihimbau untuk dapat berbahasa dan berpakaian sunda. Namun masyarakat belum seluruhnya dapat melaksanakan program tersebut, terkhusus bagi pelajar sebagai generasi muda penerus bangsa yang seharusnya tidak hanya dapat menerapkan namun juga dapat menginternalisasi nilai kebudayaan tersebut kedalam dirinya. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai internalisasi nilai kebudayaan sunda siswa dalam program Rebo Nyunda, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif dimana peneliti mengikuti kegiatan siswa disekolah, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur untuk memperkuat analisis dan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1. Internalisasi nilai kebudayaan Sunda siswa dalam Program Rebo Nyunda di SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung berada pada tahap proses transaksi nilai, dimana pada tahap ini masih ada sebagian siswa yang kesulitan menginternalisasi nilai kebudayaan sunda, kemudian guru dan staff sekolah sering memberikan timbal balik kepada siswa yang belum menggunakan pakaian adat dan/atau bahasa Sunda pada hari Rabu yaitu dengan mengingatkan. 2. Faktor penghambat internalisasi antara lain dari kesadaran diri siswa yang masih kurang, teman sebaya yang sering mengolok-olok, dan lingkungan di luar sekolah yang mulai menuju budaya modern. Sedangkan faktor pendorong, yakni dari Program Rebo Nyunda itu sendiri, keluarga yang berasal dari etnis sunda dan/atau mengembangkan kebudayaan sunda, juga sekolah yang memberikan fasilitas untuk mengenal budaya sunda. 3. Cara Sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai kebudayaan sunda siswa yaitu dengan cara persuasif dan pendekatan kekeluargaan, karena budaya hadir dari kesadaran bukan paksaan. 4. Cara Sekolah dalam mengatasi penghambat internalisasi nilai Kebudayaan Sunda yaitu dengan melakukan inovasi dalam berpakaian adat Sunda. Kata Kunci: Internalisasi nilai, Kebudayan Sunda, Rebo Nyunda, Modernisasi This research is motivated by concerns about the erosion of Sundanese culture in West Java, where the flow of modernization can not be avoided by all levels of society, one characterized by the technological advances faster than the progress of the values and culture. In one of the cities in West Java, Bandung which have specialized programs to preserve Sundanese culture, namely Program Sundanese Wednesday where on Wednesday the whole people of Bandung, especially students are encouraged to speak and dress Sunda. But the public has not fully able to implement these programs, especially those for students as young generation successor of the nation should not only be able to apply, but also can internalize these values into the culture itself. To get an idea of the internalization of Sundanese culture of students in the program Sundanese Wednesday, researchers used a qualitative approach to data collection techniques using participant observation technique in which researchers followed the activities of students in school, in-depth interviews, and literature studies to strengthen analysis and research. The study states that 1. The internalization of cultural values in the students Sundanese Sundanese Wednesday program in SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung at the stage of the transaction value, which at this stage there are still some students who have difficulty internalizing the value of Sundanese culture, and teachers and school staff often leave lead back to students who do not use traditional clothes and / or Sundanese on Wednesday is to remind. 2. Factors inhibiting internalization of self-awareness among other students who are still lacking, peers who often mocks, and the environment outside the school which started towards modern culture. While driving factors, namely from program Sundanese Wednesday itself, the family who come from ethnic Sundanese and / or develop the Sundanese culture, the school also provides the facility to know the Sundanese culture. 3. How School in instilling the value of the Sundanese culture of students is by way of persuasion and a family approach, since the present culture of awareness rather than coercion. 4. How Schools in overcoming inhibiting internalization of Sundanese culture is to innovate in traditional dress Sunda.
