PROGRAM BIMBINGAN KARIR BERDASARKAN PROFIL KOMPETENSI KARIR PESERTA DIDIK : Studi Deskriptif terhadap Peserta Didik Kelas V SD Negeri Cirateun Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016

    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi karir yang dimiliki peserta didik, padahal kompetensi karir penting bagi peserta didik agar mampu mencapai perkembangan karir yang optimal. Layanan bimbingan yang tepat untuk membantu peserta didik mengembangkan kompetensi karir adalah layanan bimbingan karir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan karir berdasarkan profil kompetensi karir peserta didik yang layak menurut pertimbangan pakar bimbingan dan konseling. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian merupakan seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Cirateun Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa instrumen non tes berbentuk angket dengan skala Likert. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) deskripsi umum kompetensi karir peserta didik yaitu sebanyak 35 orang (60,34%) dari 58 orang berada pada kategori cukup kompeten, dan 2) rumusan program bimbingan karir berdasarkan profil kompetensi karir peserta didik kelas V SD yang layak untuk diterapkan menurut pertimbangan pakar dalam bimbingan dan konseling yang terdiri dari rasional, deskripsi kebutuhan, visi dan misi, tujuan program, sasaran program, komponen program, rencana operasional, pengembangan tema, pengembangan satuan layanan, dan evaluasi program. Rekomendasi penelitian ini ditujukan kepada konselor, wali kelas dan peneliti selanjutnya.

    This research is motivated by the low career competence students, whereas the career competence is important for students to be able to achieve optimal career development. Services proper guidance to help students develop career competence is a career guidance services. This study aims to obtain a career guidance program is based on the profile of students career competence eligible in the judgement of expert in guidance and counseling. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The subject of research is a whole class of students at class V of Elementary School Cirateun Academic Year 2015/2016. The instrument used in the form of non-test instruments in the form of a questionnaire with Likert scale. This study resulted in: 1) a general description of the career competence of students as many as 35 people (60.34 %) out of 58 people are in the quite competent category, and 2) formulation of career guidance program is based on the profile of students career competence in fifth grade of elementary school eligible to apply in the judgment of experts in guidance and counseling including rationale, needs description, vision and missions, program goals, program targets, program components, operational planning, development of theme, development of service unit, and program evaluations. This research recommendations addressed to counselor, homeroom teacher, and further research.
