    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis laporan yang bertujuan untuk menguji dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture dalam menulis laporan siswa kelas VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kuasi eksperimen, dengan sumber data kelas VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah instrumen tes sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, rata-rata hasil menulis laporan sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture adalah (57,78) belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), sedangkan rata-rata hasil menulis laporan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture adalah (80,83) sudah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan t-test diperoleh nilai thitung (21,14) > ttabel (2,42). Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis laporan siswa kelas VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. ; This research is motivated by the lack of student's skills in writing a report that aims to examine and describe how learning implementation using the model of Picture and Picture in writing the report of grade VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. The method used is the method of quasi-experimental study, with the data sources of VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. The design used was one group pretest posttest design. The instruments used in data collection is a test instrument before and after using the model of Picture and Picture. The collected data is then analyzed using t-test analysis. Based on the previous research, the average results of writting reports before using the model of Picture and Picture are (57,78) has not reached the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), while the average result of writing reports after using the model of Picture and Picture is (80,83) has reached the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). After analysis is done by the t-test the value obtained are (21,14) > t table (2,42). Thus, Picture and Picture learning model can improve the ability of writting the reports on the students of grade VIII-C SMP Negeri 26 Bandung.
