Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas X Soshum 4 SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI dalam menulis teks eksposisi sebelum menggunakan metode Kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World, mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas X Soshum 4 SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI dalam menulis teks eksposisisesudahmenggunakan metode Kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World, dan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa sebelum dan sesudahmenggunakan metode Kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Metode penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk one-group pretest-posttest design hanya menggunakan satu kelompok penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa soal tes dan lembar observasi. Sedangkan untuk teknik pengolahan data dengan cara uji statistik yang diperoleh dari data prates dan pascates. Berdasarkan pengolahan data, dapat diketahui rata-rata nilai siswa sebelum menggunakan metode kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World yaitu 67,91. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai siswa setelah menggunakan metode kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World yaitu 82,05. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World mampu mendorong siswa untuk membuat teks eksposisi yang lebih baik. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian prates dan pascates menunjukkan bahwa data distribusi tersebar normal dengan taraf kepercaaan 95%. Setelah data dinyatakan normal, penulis menguji hipotesis dengan menghitung uji t. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu thitung (5,37) > ttabel (2,045), sehingga H0 ditolak (H1 diterima). Dapat disimpulkanmetode kolaborasi dengan media film The New Rulers of The World terbukti efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. This study aims to determine the students ability of class X Soshum 4 SMA Percontohan Laboratorium UPI in writing exposition text before using collaboration method with The New Rulers of the World as media, determine the ability of class X Soshum 4 SMA Percontohan Laboratorium UPI in writing exposition text after using collaboration method with film The New Rulers of the World , and determine whether or not a significant difference between students' ability to write exposition text before and after using the Collaboration method with The New Rulers of the World as media. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Experimental research methods to form a one-group pretest-posttest design using only one research group. The instruments used in data collection in the form of test questions and observation sheet. As for the technique of data processing by means of statistical tests obtained pre-test and post-test data. Based on data processing, it can be seen the average value of students before using the collaboration method with The New Rulers of The World as media is 67.91. While the average value of the students after using the collaboration method with The New Rulers of The World as media is 82.05. It is proved that the application of the method of collaboration with the media film The New Rulers of the World to encourage students to make better exposition text. Furthermore, pre-test and post-test results of the study indicate that the data is scattered normal distribution with trusted 95% level. Once the data is otherwise normal, the authors tested the hypothesis by calculating the t test. The results obtained are thitung (5.37)> t table (2.045), so that H0 is rejected (H1 accepted). It can be concluded method collaboration with the media film The New Rulers of the World proved to be effective for use in learning to write text exposition.
