Abstract
Penelitian ini berawal dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap guru mata pelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas VIII Mts al-Musyawarah Lembang yang menyatakan bahwa masih banyak kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam keterampilan menulis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana menulis Insya dengan menggunakan metode Estafet Writing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design yakni menggunakan dua kelas sebagai sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan nilai Mann-Whitney yang digunakan adalah nilai (Sig. (2-tailed)) sebesar 0,000. Kemudian nilai (Sig. (2-tailed)) di bandingkan dengan a = 0,05. Karena nilai a (0,05) lebih besar dari nilai (Sig. (2-tailed)) maka diputuskan untuk menolak H0 dan menerima Ha. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan metode estafet writing dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan metode tersebut. This study is started from the observation that was conducted by the researcher to an Arabic teacher of eighth grade student of mts al-Musyawarah, Lembang. The teacher stated that there are still many difficulties faced by the students in writing. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of Estafet Writing method in Insya writing. This study employs the quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design as its method: Two classes are used as experiment class sample and control class. This study reveals that the t-test value that is used is Equal variances not assumed row value, with a significance value of 0,000. The value (Sig. (2-tailed)) is then compared to @ = 0,05. H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because the value @ (0,05) is bigger than (Sig. (2-tailed)). It can be concluded that in the learning process using the estafet writing method, the students’ insya writing skills can be more effective compared to students who do not employ the learning method.
