Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Pengolahan Musik Tetabuhan Nusantara dalam ‘Rhythm Sawah’ karya Gilang Ramadhan” yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi, ide, keunikan-keunikan dan bagaimana pengembangan tetabuhan nusantara pada “rhythm sawah”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Secara oprasional, data dikumpulkan dengan cara teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Semua data yang terkumpul diolah melalui teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil temuan dari penelitian yaitu bahwa Irama “rhythm sawah” merupakan hasil dari kreativitas Gilang Ramadhan dalam mengolah musik tetabuhan nusantara menjadi sebuah kesatuan. Irama tersebut bisa diaplikasikan pada permainan solo drum, komposisi dan sebagai pengiring dalam suatu combo. Pada drum set yang digunakan memiliki keunikan dalam konfigurasi instrumen dengan menambah ceng-ceng bali dan kenong. Pada warna bunyi drum itu sendiri mengadopsi dari musik tetabuhan nusantara. ---------- This thesis entitled "Processing of Archipelago Percussion Music in 'Rhythm Sawah' by Gilang Ramadhan" aims to find motivation, ideas, uniqueness and how the development of archipelago percussion on the "rhythm sawah". The method used in this research is descriptive analytic through a qualitative approach. Operationally, the data collected by observation, interview, documentation studies and literature studies. All data collected were processed through data reduction techniques, presentation of data, verification of conclusion. The findings of the study were the rhythm of "rhythm sawah" is the result of Gilang Ramadan’s creativity in processing archipelago percussion music into a single unit. The rhythm can be applied to the drum solos, as composition and as a counterpoint in a combo. There is a uniqueness of the instrument configuration of the drum set used by adding ceng-ceng Bali (Balinese cymbals) and kenong (small gong). The timbre of the drum itself adopted from of archipelago percussion music.
