    Abstract

    Penelitian dengan judul PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RESPECT DAN RESPONSIBILITY MELALUI PEBELAJARAN SENI TARI PADA SISWA KELAS VII DI SMP NEGERI 1 BANDUNG ini, permasalahannya mengamati karakter siswa SMP yang terlihat memprihatinkan, terutama dalam hal saling menghormati, menghargai dan bertanggung jawab. Permasalahan lainnya bahwa pembentukan karakter tidak hanya identik dengan pelajaran Kewarganegaraan saja, namun pembelajaran lain pun termasuk pembelajaran seni tari juga dapat membentuk karakter siswa, karena pembelajaran seni tari merupakan proses pembelajaran yang sangat kompleks. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembentukan karakter respect dan responsibillity dalam pembelajaran tari dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi semua pihak terutama bagi guru, siswa, dan lembaga persekolahan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif analisi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Temuan yang didapat dari pelaksanaan penelitian, yaitu sikap respect dan responsibility mewakili nilai-nilai dasar moralitas utama yang berlaku secara universal. Respect dan responsibility merupakan hal yang mendasar dan landasan sekolah yang tidak hanya memperbolehkan, tetapi mengharuskan para guru untuk memberikan pendidikan tersebut untuk membangun manusia-manusia secara etis berilmu dan dapat memposisikan diri mereka sebagai bagaian dari masyarakat yang bertanggung jawab. Respect berarti menunjukan penghargaan kita terhadap harga diri orang lain ataupun hal lain selain diri kita. Sedangkan yang dimaksud dengan Responsibility merupakan suatu bentuk lanjutan dari rasa respect. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembentukan karakter respect dan responsibility dalam pembelajaran tari dapat dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran secara berkelompok.

    CHARACTER FORMATION OF RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY LEARNING THROUGH THE ARTS DANCE CLASS IN VII SMP NEGERI 1 BANDUNG this problem is to observe the character of junior high school students that look of concern, especially in terms of mutual respect, respect and responsibility. Another problem that the formation of character is not only synonymous with citizenship lessons only, but the other study also included learning the art of dance can also shape the character of the students, because learning the art of dance is a learning process which is very complex. The aim of research to describe the process of forming the character of respect and responsibillity in learning dance and determine the factors that influence it. This research is expected to be beneficial for all parties, especially for teachers, students, and institutional schooling. This research method using descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The findings gained from the implementation of research, namely the attitude of respect and responsibility to represent the basic values of the main morality universally applicable. Respect and responsibility are fundamental and foundation schools which not only allows, but requires teachers to provide this education to build human beings ethically knowledgeable and can position themselves as part of their community who are responsible. Respect means showing our appreciation for the esteem of others or other things besides ourselves. While the definition of Responsibility is an advanced form of a sense of respect. It can be concluded that the formation of the character of respect and responsibility in learning dance can be done with a model of learning in groups.
