Abstract

Sebagai media utama dalam pembelajaran Sejarah, buku pelajaran Sejarah berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai patriotisme pada peserta didik sebagai bagian dari Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang menjadi aspek utama Kurikulum Merdeka. Terlebih, banyaknya permasalahan pada peserta didik, seperti rendahnya kecintaan terhadap budaya dan sejarah bangsa Indonesia serta banyaknya aksi tawuran membuat nilai-nilai patriotisme semakin dibutuhkan dalam membangun karakter generasi muda. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana Buku Teks Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI Kurikulum Merdeka merepresentasikan nilai-nilai patriotisme yang meliputi 4 indikator, yaitu kesetiaan, keberanian, rela berkorban, dan cinta tanah air. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis isi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh hasil penelitian, terdapat 4 tahap penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, diantaranya menentukan topik, melakukan kajian pustaka, menentukan metode yang digunakan, serta menarik kesimpulan, implikasi, dan rekomendasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Buku Teks Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI Kurikulum Merdeka telah merepresentasikan nilai-nilai patriotisme yang tersebar luas di setiap pembahasan dengan cinta tanah air sebagai representasi terbanyak. Dengan demikian, buku ini dapat menjadi media bagi guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai patriotisme pada peserta didik. Selain itu, buku ini menjadi sumber belajar yang tepat bagi peserta didik agar mereka tidak hanya memiliki kemampuan akademik yang tinggi, tetapi juga memiliki pengetahuan terkait seperti apa sikap patriotisme yang harus ada dalam diri mereka. Kata Kunci: Buku Pelajaran Sejarah, Kurikulum Merdeka, Patriotisme, Pembelajaran Sejarah, Pendidikan   As the primary medium for History learning, History textbooks play an important role in instilling patriotic values in students as part of the Pancasila Student Profile, which is a key aspect of the Independent Curriculum. Furthermore, the numerous problems faced by students, such as a low level of love for Indonesian culture and history, and the frequent occurrence of brawls, make patriotic values increasingly necessary in building the character of the younger generation. Therefore, this study aims to identify how the Grade XI History Textbooks of the Independent Curriculum represent patriotic values, which include four indicators: loyalty, courage, willingness to sacrifice, and love for the country. The method used in this study is a descriptive content analysis method with a qualitative approach. To obtain the research results, the researcher conducted four research stages, including determining the topic, conducting a literature review, determining the method used, and drawing conclusions, applications, and recommendations. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the Grade XI History Textbook for the Merdeka Curriculum represents widespread patriotic values in every discussion, with love for the homeland as the most prominent representation. Therefore, this book can serve as a medium for teachers to instill patriotic values in students. Furthermore, this book serves as an appropriate learning resource for students, ensuring they not only possess high academic abilities but also acquire knowledge regarding the patriotic attitudes they should possess.
