Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan struktur faktual dan mitos dalam cerita pantun Ciung Wanara versi C.M. Pleyte, (2) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikanstruktur faktual dan mitos dalam novel Ciung Wanara karya Ajip Rosidi, (3) mendeskripsikan hasil perbandingan secara struktur faktual dan mitos antara cerita pantun Ciung Wanara versi C.M. Pleyte dengan novel Ciung Wanara karya Ajip Rosidi, dan (4) menyusun bahan ajar teks sastra di SMA dengan menggunakan teks transformasi cerita pantun Ciung Wanaradan novel Ciung Wanara karya Ajip Rosidi.Objek penelitian ini adalah ceritapantun Ciung Wanara versi C.M. Pleyte dan novel Ciung Wanara karya Ajip Rosidi. Melalui paradigma penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis komparatif dan pendekatanobjektif(struktural)yang didasarkanpada objekkaryasastraitusendiri. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan.Berkaitan dengan langkah kerja praktik sastra bandingan, maka teks cerita pantun dan novel dianalisis memanfaatkan beberapa teori sastra: (1) struktur faktual menurut Robert Stanton menggunakan analisisteoristrukturalnaratifmenurut Roland Barthes, (2) teori struktur mitos menurut Claude Levi-Strauss, dan (2) teori peran mitos menurut Herman Northrop Frye.Berdasarkan hasil analisis perbandingan struktur faktual didapatkan deskripsi perbedaan dan persamaan dari dua sumber data sehingga dapatdisimpulkan, bahwanovel CiungWanaramerupakankaryatransformasidariceritapantunCiungWanara, danbukankaryasaduran.Berdasarkan hasil analisis perbandingan struktur mitos didapatkan hasil, bahwa logika mitos ceritapantunCiungWanaraadalah legitimasimitiskelahirandankekuasaan rajamerupakan kehendak kekuasaan mitis alam semesta, sedangkan logika mitos novel CiungWanaraadalah kondisialamiahdarirealitashasratmanusiadalammerebutkekuasaan. Melalui hasil perbandingan struktur faktual dan struktur mitos didapatkan hasil peran mitos dalam perkembangan budaya manusia, bahwa novelCiungWanarakarya Ajip Rosiditermasuk ke dalam Mitos Pengukuhan (Myth of Concern), yang mengukuhkan mitos kekuasaan raja yang terdapat dalam cerita pantun Ciung Wanara versi C.M. Pleyte.Hasil kajian perbandingancerita pantun Ciung Wanara dan novel Ciung Wanarakarya Ajip Rosidi dimanfaatkan untuk menyusun modul The study was aimed at (1) finding outthe description aboutthe factual structure and mython the ceritapantun Ciung Wanara of C.M.Pleyte version, (2) finding out the description about the factual structure and myth on the novel Ciung Wanara written by Ajip Rosidi, (3) finding out the comparison offactual structure and myth between ceritapantun Ciung Wanara of C.M. Pleyte version with novel Ciung Wanara written by Ajip Rosidi, and (4) finding out the teaching material for literary textby usingthe transformation text of cerita pantun Ciung Wanara and a novelCiung Wanara written by Ajip Rosidi. The object of this study werethe ceritapantun Ciung Wanara of C.M. Pleyte version and the novel Ciung Wanara written by Ajip Rosidi. Through qualitative research paradigm, this study was a comparative analytical description and structural approach that based on the literary work itself. To gain the data, literary study on the ceritapantun Ciung Wanara and the novel Ciung Wanara were conducted.The study was used a comparative literature, that analyzes the text of ceritapantun and novel by using several literary theories: (1) the factual structure according to Robert Stanton that used the narrative theory by Roland Barthes, (2) the structural study of myth by Claude Levi-Strauss, and (2) the role of myth by Herman Northrop Frye. The result of the study showed that the differences and similarities between the two sources of data can be concluded, that the novel Ciung Wanara was a work of transformation from a carita pantun Ciung Wanara, and not the work of adaptation. The other result of the study also showed that in mythology the caritapantun Ciung Wanara was a legitimacy of mythical birth and power of the king; birth and descendant of the king was a mythic power of the universe, while the mythology of the novel Ciung Wanara was a natural condition of the reality of human desire in acquired or seized the power. The comparative study on both dates based on the role of myth in the development of human culture showed that the novel Ciung Wanara written by Ajip Rosidi was a Myth of Concern, which confirmed the existing myths of kings power in ceritapantun Ciung Wanara of C.M.
