    Abstract

    Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh
    peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia modern yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini
    bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap
    kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMAN 1 Kota Sukabumi.
    Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain
    nonequivalent control group. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari model pembelajaran Project
    Based Learning sebagai variabel independen dan berpikir kreatif sebagai variabel dependen. Instrumen
    penelitian berupa tes soal essay kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan indikator keaslian (originality),
    kelancaran (fluency), elaborasi (elaboration), dan keluwesan (flexibility). Teknik analisis data
    menggunakan uji hipotesis statistik non parametrik Mann Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
    bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen
    sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning; 2) Terdapat
    perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah
    menggunakan model konvensional; 3) Terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta
    didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan penelitian ini model
    pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran
    yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.

    Creative thinking ability is one of the important skills that must be possessed by students in facing the
    challenges of the modern world that continues to develop. This study aims to determine the effect of the
    Project Based Learning learning model on students' creative thinking skills in geography subjects at
    SMAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a
    nonequivalent control group design. The variables in this study consist of the Project Based Learning
    learning model as an independent variable and creative thinking as a dependent variable. The research
    instrument is an essay test of creative thinking skills with indicators of originality, fluency, elaboration,
    and flexibility. The data analysis technique uses the Mann Whitney U non-parametric statistical
    hypothesis test. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a difference in students' creative thinking
    skills in the experimental class before and after using the Project Based Learning learning model; 2)
    There is a difference in the creative thinking ability of students in the control class before and after
    using the conventional model; 3) There is a difference in the level of creative thinking ability of students
    in the experimental and control classes. Thus, based on this study, the Project Based Learning learning
    model can be recommended as one of the learning models that can improve students' creative thinking
    abilities.
