Abstract
Karakter kerja sama merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan sosial anak usia dini yang perlu distimulasi melalui pengalaman langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan karakter kerja sama melalui kegiatan Market Day anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 04 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Market Day memberikan pengalaman nyata bagi anak-anak untuk berlatih bekerja dalam tim, berbagi tugas, serta berkomunikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah secara bersama-sama. Anak-anak mulai memahami pentingnya berbagi peran, mendukung teman, serta menghargai pendapat orang lain dalam mencapai tujuan bersama. Keberhasilan pengembangan karakter kerja sama ini tidak terlepas dari peran aktif guru sebagai fasilitator dan orang tua sebagai pendukung dalam pembelajaran di rumah. Selain itu, tantangan yang muncul, seperti kesulitan anak dalam berkomunikasi dan beradaptasi dengan tugas kelompok, dapat diatasi melalui bimbingan yang konsisten dari guru dan orang tua. Dengan demikian, Market Day menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai kerja sama sejak usia dini, membentuk karakter sosial yang positif, dan memperkuat keterampilan interpersonal anak untuk kehidupan mendatang The character of cooperation is an important aspect of early childhood social development that needs to be stimulated through direct experience. This study aims to optimize the development of the character of cooperation through Market Day activities for children aged 5-6 years at Kemala Bhayangkari 04 Kindergarten in Serang City. This research uses phenomenological methods, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Market Day provided real experiences for children to practice working in teams, sharing tasks, and communicating and solving problems together. Children began to understand the importance of sharing roles, supporting friends, and respecting the opinions of others in achieving common goals. The success of this cooperation character development is inseparable from the active role of teachers as facilitators and parents as supporters in learning at home. In addition, challenges that arise, such as children's difficulties in communicating and adapting to group tasks, can be overcome through consistent guidance from teachers and parents. Thus, Market Day is an effective strategy in instilling the value of cooperation from an early age, shaping positive social character, and strengthening children's interpersonal skills for future life.
