Abstract
Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh, banyak guru yang belum sepenuhnya menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis Al-Qur'an. Metode Qurani adalah bersumber langsung dari Al-Qur'an, sedangkan metode umum yaitu metode yang dikembangkan di zaman modern tanpa dasar ajaran Al-Qur'an, sehingga menjadi fokus penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana penerapan metode Qurani dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam, salah satunya metode ibrah mauidzah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh metode Ibrah Mauidzah pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terhadap perkembangan karakter keagamaan siswa, khususnya dalam aspek kejujuran dan empati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran PAI di SMP Plus Sindang Resmi kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan pengukuran karakter keagamaan siswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode Ibrah Mauidzah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi untuk karakter kejujuran adalah - 0,044, sementara untuk karakter empati adalah 0,115. Berdasarkan hasil korelasi ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan metode Ibrah Mauidzah pada pembelajaran PAI dengan peningkatan karakter keagamaan siswa, baik dalam aspek kejujuran maupun empati. This research is motivated by the fact that many teachers have not fully implemented Al- Qur'an-based learning methods. The Quranic method is sourced directly from the Koran, while the general method is a method developed in modern times without the basis of the teachings of the Koran, so the focus of this research is to explore how the application of the Koranic method can improve the quality of learning in accordance with the teachings. Islam, one of which is the method of ibrah mauidzah. This research aims to examine the influence of the Ibrah Mauidzah method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on the development of students' religious character, especially in the aspects of honesty and empathy. The method used in this research is an experimental research method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students who took Islamic boarding school lessons at SMP Plus Sindang Official class VIII. Data was collected through observation and measurement of students' religious character before and after implementing the Ibrah Mauidzah method. The results of the analysis show that the correlation value for the honesty character is -0.044, while for the empathy character it is 0.115. Based on the results of this correlation, it can be concluded that there is no significant influence between the application of the Ibrah Mauidzah method in PAI learning and increasing students' religious character, both in the aspects of honesty and empathy.
