    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Minimnya pemahaman konsep dan kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik mengancam
    pelestarian lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar
    Kelana Ijen Geopark guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap peduli
    lingkungan pada peserta didik sekolah dasar. Produk yang dikembangkan memuat
    9 situs geologi, 2 situs biologi, dan 5 situs budaya di Ijen Geopark, Kabupaten
    Bondowoso, yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar kontekstual
    dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan
    dengan model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sukmadinata. Proses
    pengembangan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu studi pendahuluan,
    pengembangan produk, dan uji coba pembelajaran. Validasi materi oleh ahli materi,
    kebahasaan, dan grafis menghasilkan skor validitas 0,82 untuk aspek materi dan
    kebahasaan, serta 0,9 untuk aspek grafis, yang menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Uji
    coba pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep
    dengan N-Gain 0,529, kategori sedang dan peningkatan sikap peduli lingkungan
    dengan nilai rata-rata 78%, kategori baik. Hasil tersebut menegaskan efektivitas
    materi ajar dalam mendukung pembelajaran interaktif dan meningkatkan kesadaran
    konservasi lingkungan secara menyeluruh. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah
    materi ajar yang terintegrasi Ijen Geopark dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan
    kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik.

    ABSTRACT
    The lack of conceptual understanding and environmental awareness among students
    threatens environmental conservation. This study aims to develop Kelana Ijen
    Geopark teaching materials to enhance conceptual understanding and
    environmental awareness among elementary school students. The developed
    product includes 9 geological sites, 2 biological sites, and 5 cultural sites in Ijen
    Geopark, Bondowoso Regency, and is designed to provide a contextual and
    interactive learning experience. This research employed a development study
    method using the Borg & Gall model modified by Sukmadinata. The development
    process was carried out in three stages: a preliminary study, product development,
    and learning trials. Material validation by experts in content, language, and graphics
    yielded validity scores of 0.82 for content and 0.9 for both language and graphics,
    indicating a high category. Learning trials showed a significant improvement in
    conceptual understanding with an N-Gain of 0.529 moderate category and an
    improvement in environmental awareness with an average score of 78% good
    category. These results confirm the effectiveness of the teaching materials in
    supporting interactive learning and enhancing overall environmental conservation
    awareness. Based on the study's findings, it is recommended that integrated Ijen
    Geopark teaching materials be incorporated into the curriculum to significantly
    enhance both students' conceptual understanding and environmental awareness.
