Abstract
Perkembangan minat warga negara asing untuk mempelajari bahasa Indonesia sewajarnya berbanding lurus dengan inovasi strategi pembelajaran, sehingga berbagai kesulitan pemelajar seperti dalam keterampilan menulis dapat dikurangi. AI sebagai wujud kemajuan teknologi dengan salah satu fungsi untuk mempermudah kebutuhan manusia bukan tidak mungkin disalahgunakan, maka dari itu sangat penting untuk memanfaatkan dan mengenalkan AI sebagai teknologi modern yang positif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi pemelajar BIPA III dengan intervensi menggunakan metode project based learning berbantuan AI image creator. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research (SSR), atau penelitian subjek tunggal desain A-B-A dengan pengulangan 3 repetisi pada kondisi A1, 6 repetisi pada kondisi B, dan 3 repetisi pada kondisi A2. Seluruh tahap desain penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama empat hari dalam pembelajaran berbasis project based learning yang memberikan kesempatan secara nyata kepada pemelajar untuk langsung mempraktikkan hal yang sedang dipelajari dengan bantuan AI image creator untuk memvisualisasikan tulisan ke dalam bentuk gambar digital, sehingga memberikan inspirasi pengembangan karya tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode project based learning berbantuan AI image creator terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi pemelajar BIPA III, hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh perolehan nilai terakhir subjek 1 pada kondisi A1 sebesar 42,5, pada kondisi intervensi sebesar 82,5, dan pada kondisi A2 sebesar 80, serta perolehan nilai terakhir subjek 2 pada kondisi A1 sebesar 80, pada kondisi intervensi sebesar 90, dan pada kondisi A2 sebesar 90. The development of foreign citizens' interest in learning Indonesian should be directly proportional to the innovation of learning strategies, so that various difficulties for learners such as writing skills can be reduced. AI as a form of technological advancement with one of the functions to facilitate human needs is not impossible to abuse, therefore it is very important to utilize and introduce AI as a positive modern technology in learning. This study aims to determine the skills of BIPA III learners to write descriptive texts with intervention using the project-based learning method assisted by AI image creator. The research method used is Single Subject Research (SSR), or single subject research of A-B-A design with the repetition of 3 reps in condition A1, 6 reps in condition B, and 3 reps in condition A2. The entire stage of this research design was carried out for four days in project-based learning which provided a real opportunity for learners to directly practice what they were learning with the help of AI image creators to visualize writing into digital images, thus providing inspiration for the development of written works. The results of the study showed that the project-based learning method assisted by AI image creator was proven to be effective in improving the ability to write descriptive texts of BIPA III learners, as evidenced by the acquisition of the final score of subject 1 in condition A1 of 42.5, in the intervention condition of 82.5, and in condition A2 of 80, and the acquisition of the final score of subject 2 in condition A1 of 80, in the intervention condition of 90, and in the A2 condition of 90.
