Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi atas dasar kurangnya pengetahuan peserta didik mengenai materi rangkaian listrik. Penelitian ini didasari dari hasil kemampuan computational thinking peserta didik yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan media laboratorium virtual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan computational thinking pada peserta didik fase c pada materi rangkaian listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes pretest dan posttest sebanyak 8 soal yang disesuaikan dengan indikator computational thinking. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperiment one group pretest posttest. Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik fase c di salah satu Sekolah dasar di Jakarta Timur dengan jumlah sampel 30 peserta didik. Kemudian data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS statistik versi 26. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh data perbedaan peningkatan computational thinking pada kelas eksperimen pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian penggunaan media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan computational thinking peserta didik pada materi rangkaian listrik. This research is based on the lack of knowledge of students about electrical circuit material. This research is based on the results of students' computational thinking skills that still need to be improved. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of using virtual laboratory media in improving computational thinking skills in phase c students on electrical circuit material. This study uses pretest dan posttest test instruments as many as 8 questions that are adjusted to the indicators of computational thinking. This study uses a quantitative research model with a one group pretest posttest quasi-experiment research design. The sample in this study were phase c students at one of the elementary schools in East Jakarta with a sample size of 30 students. Then the data that has been collected is processed using the IBM SPSS statistics version 26 application. The results of this study obtained data on the difference in the increase in computational thinking in the experimental class in the medium category. This the use of virtual laboratory learning media is declared effective in improving the computational thinking ability of students on electrical circuit material.
