Abstract

Kriteria tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak usia 5-6 tahun menurut Standar Tingkat Pencapaian Perkembangan Anak (STPPA) adalah dalam memahami bahasa anak dapat mengungkapkan bahasa seperti menyusun kalimat sederhana dalam struktur lengkap (pokok kalimat-predikat-keterangan). Maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk, 1) Untuk mengetahui bentuk pelaksanaan yang membantu meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa pada anak usia 5-6 tahun, 2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan penggunaan media Languange Board Games. Namun, yang terjadi di lapangan bahwa masih terdapat banyak anak yang kemampuan bahasanya belum maksimal di TK B, memiliki perilaku yang sama saat di dalam kelas maupun luar kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton. Peneliti menggunakan tiga siklus, setiap siklusnya memiliki satu tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini anak-anak TK X yang terletak di Arcamanik, Kota Bandung. Jumlah subjek penelitian terdapat 14 orang anak, yang terdiri dari 6 perempuan, dan 8 laki-laki. Dalam penelitian, data dikumpulkan dengan teknik penilaian, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data diambil dengan menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mix method) melalui persentase dan perhitungan hasil N-Gain. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui bahwa hasil analisis data pada Pra-Siklus sebelum diberikan tindakan menunjukan persentase sebesar 20,91%, Belum Berkembang (BB) dan setelah diberikan tindakan persentase menunjukan sebesar 96,43%, Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Disimpulkan bahwa dalam bermain dengan media Language Board Games dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun. Oleh sebab itu penulis menyarankan untuk menggunakan media Language Board Games kepada guru dan calon guru sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa AUD. ------------ Criteria The level of development achievement for children aged 5-6 years according to the Child Development Achievement Level Standards (STPPA) is that in understanding language children can express language such as constructing simple sentences in complete structures (sentence main-predicate-adverb). So the aims of this research are, 1) To find out the form of implementation that helps improve language skills in children aged 5-6 years, 2) To find out how the language skills of children aged 5-6 years increase with the use of media. Languange Board Games. However, what happens in the field is that there are still many children whose language skills are not optimal in Kindergarten B, who have the same behavior both inside and outside the classroom. The research method used in this research is the Pelton model of Class Action Research (PTK). Researchers used three cycles, each cycle had one action. The subjects of this research were children from Kindergarten X located in Arcamanik, Bandung City. The number of research subjects was 14 children, consisting of 6 girls and 8 boys. In research, data is collected using assessment, documentation and interview techniques. Data was taken using qualitative and quantitative techniques (mix method) through percentages and calculation of results N-Gain. Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that the results of data analysis in the Pre-Cycle before the action was given showed a percentage of 20.91%, Not Developed (BB) and after being given the action the percentage showed 96.43%, Very Well Developed (BSB). It was concluded that in playing with the media Language Board Games can improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. Therefore the author suggests using media Language Board Games to teachers and prospective teachers as an alternative in an effort to improve AUD language skills.
