Abstract

Knowledge sharing atau berbagi pengetahuan merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengelola pengetahuan (knowledge management) dan meminimalisir hilangnya pengetahuan. Bagi suatu komunitas, pengetahuan merupakan aset yang penting untuk kebutuhan dan keberlangsungan komunitas. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan Wikilatih Sunda sebagai salah satu cara mengelola pengetahuan anggota Komunitas Wikimedia Bandung di mana proses knowledge sharing juga terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan konten Wikilatih Sunda dan proses knowledge sharing pada Komunitas Wikimedia Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif naratif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi serta studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis kemudian diceritakan kembali dalam bentuk narasi kemudian dikolaborasikan dan divalidasi dengan hasil pengamatan dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu bentuk pengelolaan pengetahuan dan konten pada Komunitas Wikimedia Bandung adalah melalui kegiatan Wikilatih Sunda. Konten tersebut terdiri atas pengenalan Wikimedia dan Wikipedia, tata cara dan ketentuan menulis juga menyunting artikel di Wikipedia. Proses knowledge sharing yang terlihat adalah pertukaran dan transfer pengetahuan dari pelatih ke peserta, penerimaan kembali pengetahuan dari komunitas ke individu dan penciptaan pengetahuan baru berupa produk dan artikel di Wikipedia. Knowledge sharing is one way to manage knowledge and minimize the loss of knowledge. For a community, knowledge is an important asset for the needs and sustainability of the community. This research is motivated by the implementation of Wikilatih Sunda activities as a way to manage the knowledge of the Wikimedia Bandung Community members where the knowledge sharing process also occurs. This research aims to determine the content management of Wikilatih Sunda and the knowledge sharing in the Wikimedia Bandung Community. The method used is a narrative qualitative approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and the data collection technique is carried out by interview, observation and documentation study. The data was analyzed and then restoried in the form of a narrative and then collaborated and validated with the results of observations and documents. The results showed that one form of knowledge and content management in the Wikimedia Bandung Community is through Wikilatih Sunda activities. The content consists of an introduction to Wikimedia and Wikipedia, procedures and conditions for writing and editing articles on Wikipedia. The visible knowledge sharing process is the exchange and transfer of knowledge from trainers to participants, the re-receipt of knowledge from the community to individuals, and the creation of new knowledge in the form of products and articles on Wikipedia.
