Abstract

Sekolah memiliki peranan penting sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal yang dirancang untuk membentuk manusia berkepribadian dan berkarakter baik. Namun, tidak sedikit masalah yang muncul di lingkungan sekolah salah satunya fenomena bullying yang marak terjadi di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara perilaku bullying dengan phobia sosial yang terdiri dari tingkat kognitif, tingkat somatik, dan tingkat emosi siswa SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung dengan menggunakan metode korelasional melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner berisi 50 butir pernyataan kepada 341 peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan statistik deskriptif responden di SMPN 1 Cileunyi, SMPN 1 Rancaekek, maupun SMPN 1 Cicalengka mayoritas siswa pernah melakukan perilaku bullying dan pernah menjadi korban bullying dengan kategori “kadang-kadang”, namun di SMPN 1 Cicalengka lebih banyak siswa yang sering menjadi korban bullying dengan kategori “Ya”. Kemudian hasil hubungan antara sub variabel tingkat kognitif memiliki nilai koefisien 0,670 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, tingkat somatik memiliki nilai koefisien 0,525 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, dan tingkat emosi memiliki nilai koefisien 0,450 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti ketiga sub variabel tersebut memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku bullying. Dan hasil dari uji korelasi antara perilaku bullying dengan phobia sosial diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0,645 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif dengan kategorisasi cukup dan signifikan antara perilaku bullying dengan phobia sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung. Schools have an important role as formal educational institutions designed to form people with good personality and character. However, quite a few problems arise in the school environment, one of which is the phenomenon of bullying which is widespread in schools. The aim of this research is to look at the relationship between bullying behavior and social phobia consisting of the cognitive level, somatic level and emotional level of State Junior High School students in Bandung District using correlational methods through a quantitative approach. Researchers distributed a questionnaire containing 50 statement items to 341 State Junior High School students in Bandung District using a random sampling technique. The results of the research show that based on descriptive statistics of respondents at SMPN 1 Cileunyi, SMPN 1 Rancaekek, and SMPN 1 Cicalengka, the majority of students have carried out bullying behavior and have been victims of bullying in the "sometimes" category, however at SMPN 1 Cicalengka there are more students who often become victims of bullying victims of bullying in the "Yes" category. Then the results of the relationship between the cognitive level sub-variables have a coefficient value of 0.670 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, the somatic level has a coefficient value of 0.525 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, and the emotional level has a coefficient value of 0.450 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0. 05, which means that the three sub-variables have a significant relationship with bullying behavior. And the results of the correlation test between bullying behavior and social phobia obtained a coefficient value of 0.645 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a positive relationship with sufficient and significant categorization between bullying behavior and social phobia of State Junior High School students in Bandung District.
