Abstract

Kemampuan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 5C di UPTD SDN 1 Citalang masih berada di bawah standar. Berdasarkan data hasil pre-test yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan siswa yang hanya mencapai > 40. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan peneliti untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model Picture and Picture (Picture and Picture) berbantuan Quizizz. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui kemampuan penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas V SD sebelum menggunakan model Picture and Picture berbantuan Quizizz. 2) mengetahui kemampuan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 5 SD setelah menggunakan model Picture and Picture berbantuan Quizizz. 3) mengetahui pengaruh model Picture and Picture berbantuan Quizizz terhadap kemampuan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 5 SD. Model pembelajaran Picture and Picture menggunakan gambar sebagai media pembelajaran. Aplikasi Quizizz merupakan media untuk menampilkan gambar sehingga peserta didik dapat beradaptasi dengan digitalisasi. Pre-eksperimen digunakan sebagai metode penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai rata-rata penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris yang diperoleh melalui post-test meningkat menjadi < 75. Dari segi hasil data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbasis Quizizz dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 5C UPTD SDN 1 Citalang. ----- English vocabulary skills of 5C class students at UPTD SDN 1 Citalang is still in the below of standard. Based on the pre-test data which shows the overall average score of students which is only > 40. The efforts that researchers can make to solve these problems are by applying the Picture and Picture (Picture and Picture) model aided by Quizizz. The objectives of this research are: 1) knowing the ability of student's vocabulary mastery in grade 5 elementary school before using the Picture and Picture model aided by Quizizz. 2) knowing students' ability in grade 5 elementary school English vocabulary mastery after using the Picture and Picture model aided by Quizizz. 3) knowing the effect of the Picture and Picture model aided by Quizizz on students' English vocabulary mastery ability in grade 5 elementary school. The Picture and Picture learning model uses pictures as a learning medium. The Quizizz application is a medium to display images so learners can adapt to digitalization. Pre-experiment is used as the method of this research. Based on the study's results, the average value of English vocabulary mastery obtained through the post-test increased to < 75. In terms of data results, it can be summarized that the Quizizz-based Picture and Picture learning model can enhance students' English vocabulary mastery of class 5C UPTD SDN 1 Citalang.
