Abstract

Sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam memperkuat pemahaman dan praktik karakter yang baik sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Namun berdasarkan data Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) bahwa kasus intoleransi (tawuran antar pelajar), prostitusi, pergaulan bebas, perundungan, pornografi dan cybercrime terus mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun. Hal tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan karakter pada peserta didik yang dimuat melalui program sekolah. Penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di SMP Negeri 3 Belitang Madang Raya pada dimensi gotong royong dan mandiri dilaksanakan melalui intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi perencanaan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila pada dimensi gotong royong dan mandiri di SMP Negeri 3 Belitang Madang Raya, dan implementasinya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, kokurikuler, dan ektrakulikuler serta melihat faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini, peneliti mendeskripsikan; Pertama, perencanaan dilaksanakan melalui survei kebutuhan peserta didik dan kolaborasi antar pendidik sebagai upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi SMP Negeri 3 Belitang Madang Raya. Kedua, implementasi profil pelajar pancasila pada dimensi gotong royong dan mandiri diintegrasikan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Ketiga, faktor pendukung peguatan profil pelajar Pancasila yaitu melalui kolaborasi antar pendidik dan peran aktif peserta didik dalam menyukseskan setiap kegiatan, selanjutnya faktor penghambat diantaranya peserta tidak disiplin dan sarana prasarana yang kurang memadai. Sedangkan upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut yaitu dengan meningkatkatkan kerjasama dan kolaborasi antar pendidik, meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan orang tua, serta melakukan sistem punisment dan reward kepada peserta didik. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan pendidikan karakter melalui penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila khsusunya di tingkat sekolah menengah, serta perlunya strategi yang lebih efektif dalam memperkuat kesadaran dan komitmen peserta didik dalam meningkatkan karakter gotong royong dan kemandirian. Schools as educational institutions have a significant responsibility in strengthening the understanding and practice of good character in line with the values of Pancasila. However, based on data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), cases of intolerance (student brawls), prostitution, free association, bullying, pornography, and cybercrime continue to increase every year. This indicates the importance of character strengthening in students, which is incorporated through school programs. This research aims to see the planning strategy for strengthening the profil pelajar Pancasila in the dimensions of gotong royong and independence at SMP Negeri 3 Belitang Madang Raya, and its implementation in learning, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities as well as seeing the supporting and inhibiting factors in strengthening the profil pelajar Pancasila. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The informants in this study consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, vice principal for student affairs, Civics teacher, scout coach, and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study, researchers describe; First, planning is carried out through surveying the needs of students and collaboration between educators as an effort to realize the vision and mission of SMP Negeri 3 Belitang Madang Raya. Second, the implementation of the profil pelajar Pancasila in the dimensions of gotong royong and independence is integrated through intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. Third, the supporting factors for strengthening the profil pelajar Pancasila are through the collaboration of educators and the active role of students in the success of each activity, then inhibiting factors include student delinquency and inadequate infrastructure. While the efforts made by schools in overcoming these obstacles are by improving the quality of cooperation and collaboration of educators, increasing school cooperation with parents, and conducting a punishment and reward system for students. The implications of this research include recommendations to improve character education through strengthening the profile pelajar Pancasila especially at the secondary school level, as well as the need for more effective strategies in strengthening students'awareness and commitment in improving the character of gotong royong and independence
