Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar kejuruan perhotelan, perbedaan hasil kognitif peserta didik antara media video pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran konvensional, dan efektivitas media video pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar kejuruan perhotelan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X Perhotelan di SMKN 15 Bandung. Masalah pada penelitian ini berfokus pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh tenaga pendidik dalam pembelajaran terkait dengan peningkatan hasil kognitif peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pre-test-Post-test with nonequivalent control group design dengan menggunakan dua kelompok sampel yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media video pembelajaran dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dengan menggunakan instrumen 20 soal pilihan ganda setiap pengambilan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam penerapan media video pembelajaran terdapat peningkatan hasil kognitif dalam mata pelajaran dasar-dasar kejuruan perhotelan. This study aims to determine the implementation of video based learning media on the cognitive outcomes of students in the basic subjects of hospitality vocation, difference in cognitive outcomes of students between video-based learning media and conventional learning media, and the effectiveness of video based learning media on the cognitive outcomes of students in the basic subjects of hospitality vocation. This research was conducted in class X Hospitality at SMKN 15 Bandung. The problem in this study focuses on the learning media used by educators in learning related to improving the cognitive outcomes of students. The research method used is quasi experimental. The design used is Pre-test-Post-test with nonequivalent control group design using two sample groups, namely experimental classes using video-based learning media and control classes using conventional learning media. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling. Data collection in the study was carried out 2 times using an instrument of 20 multiple choice questions for each data collection. The results showed that in the application of video based learning there is an increase in cognitive outcomes in the basic subjects of hospitality vocation.
