Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan kunci penting dalam membentuk individu yang mampu bersaing dan berperan aktif dalam lingkungan yang semakin kompleks dan dinamis. Namun, pendidikan saat ini seringkali masih terfokus pada pendekatan guru berpusat, yang dapat menghambat kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, termasuk kemampuan berpikir komputasional yang penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan bantuan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran basis data untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Computational Thinking (CT) siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode R&D dengan model pengembangan multimedia ADDIE dan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Multimedia yang dikembangkan mendapat validasi ahli dengan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 93,55% dan dikategorikan sebagai "Sangat Baik". 2) Implementasi model PBL dalam pembelajaran basis data berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa pada keseluruhan indikator, dengan rerata n-gain sebesar 0,478 yang dikategorikan sebagai "Sedang". 3) Hasil rerata tanggapan siswa terhadap multimedia interaktif sebesar 93,45% berkategori “Sangat Baik". Education is a crucial key in shaping individuals who are capable of competing and actively participating in an increasingly complex and dynamic environment. However, education today often remains focused on teacher-centered approaches, which can hinder students' problem-solving abilities, including essential computational thinking skills. This research aims to implement the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the assistance of interactive multimedia in database learning to enhance students' Computational Thinking (CT) abilities. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE multimedia development model and a One Group Pretest Posttest research design. The research findings indicate that: 1) The developed multimedia received expert validation with a validity level of 93.55% and categorized as "Very Good". 2) The implementation of the PBL model in database learning positively affects the improvement of students' computational thinking abilities across all indicators, with an average n-gain of 0.478 categorized as "Moderate".3) The average response rate of students to the interactive multimedia is 93.45%, categorized as "Excellent."
