Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada masalah yang peneliti dapat yaitu terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi keragaman budaya di Indonesia dan rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik pada materi keragaman budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Spinning Wheel materi keragaman budaya yang layak dan dapat diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran khususnya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS. Media ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Richey dan Klein. Model penelitian yang digunakan ialah model ADDIE yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Pada tahap pengembangan media melibatkan beberapa ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media yang dibuat, Hasil validasi media Spinning Wheel mendapatkan nilai dengan persentasi 100% tanpa catatan dari ahli materi setelah revisi. Hasil tersebut masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Dari ahli media mendapatkan nilai dengan persentase 95% setelah revisi dan masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Media Spinning Wheel yang dikembaangkan membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan suasana kelas menjadi aktif. Hasil belajar IPAS materi keragaman budaya peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Spinning Wheel. This research is based on the problem that researchers identified, namely the limited use of learning media used in cultural diversity material in Indonesia and the low science learning outcomes of students in cultural diversity material. This research aims to develop Spinning Wheel media material on cultural diversity that is appropriate and can be implemented in learning, especially to improve science learning outcomes. This media was created using the Design and Development (D&D) method developed by Richey and Klein. The research model used is the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. At the media development stage, several experts were involved, namely material experts and media experts, to determine the suitability of the media created. The results of the Spinning Wheel media validation received a score of 100% without notes from material experts after revision. These results fall into the "Very Good" (SB) criteria. Media experts received a score of 95% after revision and entered the "Very Good" (SB) criteria. The Spinning Wheel media developed makes learning more fun and the class atmosphere becomes active. Students' learning outcomes in science and technology on cultural diversity also increased after learning using Spinning Wheel media.
