    Abstract

    Pandemi covid-19 membawa berbagai perubahan pada seluruh aspek dan lapisan kehidupan,
    khususnya pada sistem pendidikan dan modal sosial dari peserta didik. Pada penalitian ini
    memiliki tujuan utama, yakni mengetahui bagaimana gambaran yang ditunjukan dari pengaruh
    perubahan sosial akibat covid-19 terhadap modal sosial peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri
    se-Kecamatan Ciawi Kabupaten Bogor. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional
    dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner atau angket. Populasi dari
    penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas VIII tahun akademik 2022-2023 dengan jumlah
    keseluruhan 1049 peserta didik, maka sampel yang didapat sebanyak 95 peserta didik. Hasil
    penelitian ini menyatakan jika kedua variabel memiliki tingkat pengaruh yang positif dan
    saling bersignifikan. Kemudian gambaran pada peserta didik terhadap perubahan sosial akibat
    pandemi covid-19 memiliki rata-rata jawaban responden menempati kategori cukup dan pada
    gambaran modal sosial peserta didik menempati kategori sangat tinggi. Sehingga dapat
    disimpulkan jika kedua variabel saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain.

    The covid-19 pandemic has brought various changes to all aspects and layers of life, especially
    to the education system and the social capital of students. This research has the main objective,
    namely to find out how the picture is shown of the effect of social change due to covid-19 on
    the social capital of class VIII students at SMP Negeri in Ciawi District, Bogor Regency. This
    research method uses correlation with a quantitative approach. data collection through
    questionnaires or questionnaires. The population of this study were VIII grade students in the
    2022-2023 academic year with a total of 1049 students, so the sample obtained was 95
    students. The results of this study state if both variables have a positive and mutually significant
    level of influence. Then the description of students on social change due to the co-19 pandemic
    has an average respondent's answer in the moderate category and in the description of
    students' social capital in the very high category. So it can be concluded that the two variables
    influence each other.
