Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya kemampuan berhitung permulaan khususnya dalam mengenal lambang bilangan 1-20 pada anak usia dini di TK Laboratorium UPI Kampus Cibitu. Kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-20 termasuk bagian dari berhitung permulaan yang merupakan aspek perkembangan kognitif pada anak usia dini. Salah satu strategi yang bisa digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan yaitu melalui penggunaan media kartu hipat, jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Petlon. Pennelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 tindakan dan melibatkan 13 partisipan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan lembar observasi, penilaian performa, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Langkah penggunaan media kartu hipat ini dimulai dari cara berhitung lambang bilangan 1-20 dengan cepat dan mengurutkan lambang bilangan, peserta didik melakukan menghitung dan mengurutkan sesuai arahan dan terakhir memberikan penguatan. Dari hasil yang telah didapat, menunjukkan peningkatan seperti pada sub indikator menghitung lambang bilangan 1-20 pada skor BSB dari 23% menjadi 69%, sedangkan untuk mengurutkan lambang bilangan 1-20 pada skor BSB dari 38% menjadi 69% kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media kartu hipat mampu meningkatan perkembangan berhitung permulaan anak usia dini, karena itu disarankan pada guru untuk menggunakan berhitung melalui media kartu cipat dalam pembelajaran berhitung permulaan. ---------- This research was motivated by the problem of lack of initial numeracy skills, especially in recognizing the symbol of the number 1-20 in early childhood at UPI Laboratory Kindergarten, Cibitu Campus. The ability to recognize the symbol of numbers 1-20 is part of the initial counting which is an aspect of cognitive development in early childhood. One strategy that can be used in improving initial numeracy skills is through the use of hipat card media, this type of research is classroom action research with the Petlon model. This research was carried out in 3 actions and involved 13 participants. The data collection techniques carried out are observation sheets, performance assessments, field notes, and documentation. The step of using this hipat card media starts from how to quickly calculate the number symbols 1-20 and sort the number symbols, students do the counting and sorting according to the direction and finally provide reinforcement. From the results that have been obtained, it shows an increase as in the sub-indicators of calculating the symbol of numbers 1-20 on the BSB score from 23% to 69%, while to sort the symbol of numbers 1-20 on the BSB score from 38% to 69% the conclusion that the use of hipat card media is able to increase the development of early childhood numeracy, therefore it is recommended for teachers to use counting through the medium of cipat cards in learning to count early.
