    Abstract

    Problematika terkait keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi bahasan yang
    menarik untuk dikaji, dikarenakan keterampilan ini menjadi salah satu bagian dari
    keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dicapai. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian
    dengan mengkaji masalah belum optimalnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa
    pada mata pelajaran OTK Sarana dan Prasarana Kelas XI Jurusan OTKP di SMK
    Negeri 3 Bandung. Penelitian difokuskan pada pembelajaran berbasis HOTS dan
    keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
    gambaran efektivitas implementasi pembelajaran berbasis HOTS dan tingkat
    keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, serta pengaruh implementasi pembelajaran
    berbasis HOTS terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.
    Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survey eksplanasi dan
    pendekatan kuantitatif. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan
    cara penyebaran angket/kuesioner kepada 107 siswa Kelas XI Jurusan OTKP di
    SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi
    sederhana.
    Berdasarkan analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis terhadap hasil
    penelitian, diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa gambaran efektivitas
    implementasi pembelajaran berbasis HOTS berada pada kategori cukup efektif,
    dan tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada kategori cukup tinggi.
    Kemudian, untuk hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa implementasi pembelajaran
    berbasis HOTS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan
    keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

    Problems related to critical thinking skills are an interesting topic to
    study, because these skills are part of the 21st century skills that must be
    achieved. Therefore, research was carried out by examining the problem of
    students’ critical thinking skills not being optimal in the OTK facilities and
    infrastructure class XI majoring in OTKP at SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Research is
    focused on HOTS based learning and critical thinking skills. The purpose of this
    research was to describe effectiveness of the implementation of HOTS based
    learning and the level of studet’s critical thinking skills, as well as the influence of
    the implementation of HOTS based learning on improving students’ critical
    thinking skills.
    The method used in this research is explanatory survey and quantitative
    approach. Furthermore, the data collection technique was carried out by
    distributing questionnairesto 107 class XI students majoring in OTKP at SMK
    Negeri 3 Bandung. The analysis technique used is simple regression.
    Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing on the result of the
    research, result showed that the description of the level of effectiveness of
    implementing HOTS based learning was in the fairly effective category, and the
    level of students’ critical thinking skills was in the fairly high category. Then, for
    the result of hypothesis testing, it was found that HOTS based learning had a
    positive and significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills.
