Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak perilaku verbal bullying terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian case study research (studi kasus). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi sebagai pendukung data di lapangan, wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 3 orang beserta guru wali kelas. Hasil penelitian mengenai dampak perilaku verbal bullying terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal siswa adalah verbal bullying yang terjadi di sekolah dasar yaitu dimana siswa akan saling mengejek satu sama lain dengan temannya. Bentuk ejekannya berupa mengejek temannya secara fisik dan tidak jarang juga mengejek kekurangan dari orang tua temannya. Faktor penyebab terjadi tindakan verbal bullying tersebut dipicu dengan keadaan intelektual yang rendah, tingkat ekonominya seadanya, dan keadaan orang tuanya. Gambaran kecerdasan interpersonal kelas 5A di SDN Jakasampurna VIII dinilai cukup bagus, tetapi untuk korban memiliki kendala dalam berinteraksi dengan teman sekelasnya. Walaupun teman sebangkunya mengajaknya ngobrol tetapi korban masih cenderung pasif dalam hal berinteraksi. Pihak sekolah pasti akan menindak lanjuti permasalahan tersebut dan para guru juga berupaya untuk mengatasi perilaku bullying yang cukup parah. Dalam hal mengatasi perilaku seperti itu, guru mengajak orang tua siswa untuk bekerja sama agar bisa memantau siswa tersebut. Jika memang orang tua tidak ingin mengawasi anaknya maka pihak sekolah tidak dapat membantu banyak dan meminta orang tua siswa untuk memindahkannya ke sekolah lain. : This study aims to determine the impact of verbal bullying behavior on the interpersonal intelligence of elementary school students. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study research type. This study uses documentation data collection techniques to support data in the field, interviews and observations. The subjects of this study were 3 students of class V and their homeroom teacher. The results of research regarding the impact of verbal bullying behavior on students' interpersonal intelligence is that verbal bullying that occurs in elementary schools is where students will mock each other and their friends. The form of ridicule is in the form of physically mocking his friends and not infrequently also ridiculing the shortcomings of his friends' parents. Factors that cause verbal bullying to occur are triggered by low intellectual conditions, modest economic levels, and the condition of their parents. The description of interpersonal intelligence for class 5A at SDN Jakasampurna VIII is considered quite good, but victims have problems interacting with their classmates. Even though his seatmate invites him to chat, the victim still tends to be passive in terms of interaction. The school will definitely follow up on this problem and the teachers are also trying to overcome bullying behavior which is quite severe. In terms of overcoming such behavior, the teacher invites the parents of students to work together so they can monitor the student. If indeed the parents do not want to supervise their children, the school cannot help much and asks the parents to transfer them to another school.
