    Abstract

    Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan
    oleh pendidik dalam mengembangkan karakter berakhlak mulia siswa kelas I-VI di
    sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan yakni kualitatif dan
    kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yakni kepala
    sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi,
    wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Tahap analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah
    analisis data kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan kebijakan kepala sekolah, cara guru,
    serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat karakter berakhlak mulia siswa. Selanjutnya
    menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif untuk menghitung hasil upaya pendidik pada
    setiap kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan adanya kebijakan yang dikeluarkan
    kepala sekolah yang tertuang dalam Surat Keputusan Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri 149
    Cigadung Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler Kota Bandung Nomor PK.03.02.13/002-
    SDN149CGD/IV/2022 Tentang keberlakuan Kurikulum Operasional Sekolah dan
    terwujud dalam berbagai macam cara yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam kegiatan di
    sekolah untuk mengembangkan karakter berakhlak mulia siswa. Adapun upaya yang
    dilakukan yakni melalui pembiasaan, pemberian motivasi, nasihat, sanksi dan
    penghargaan. Setiap guru melakukan upaya yang sama sesuai dengan kebijakan dari
    kepala sekolah, hanya saja perbedaannya terdapat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan yang
    disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan dari masing-masing kelas. Secara
    keseluruhan, karakter berakhlak mulia siswa berada pada kategori yang sedang karena
    faktor keteladanan, kesadaran siswa, pola asuh keluarga, kerjasama berbagai pihak,
    lingkungan, dan media sosial.
    This study aims to describe the efforts made by educators in developing the noble
    character of students in grades I-VI in elementary schools. This study uses two
    approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative with descriptive methods. The
    participants in this study were school principals, teachers, and students. Data
    collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews,
    documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis stage in this study was
    qualitative data analysis to describe the principal's policies, the ways of the teachers,
    as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the students' noble character.
    Furthermore, using quantitative data analysis to calculate the results of educator
    efforts in each class. The results of this study illustrate that there is a policy issued by
    the school principal as contained in the Decree of the Principal of Public Elementary
    School 149 Cigadung, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City Number
    PK.03.02.13/002-SDN149CGD/IV/2022 concerning the Applicability of the School
    Operational Curriculum and manifested in various forms the way that is done by the
    teacher in activities at school to develop the noble character of students. The efforts
    made are through habituation, giving motivation, advice, sanctions and awards. Each
    teacher makes the same effort in accordance with the policy of the school principal,
    it's just that the difference is in the implementation of activities that are adapted to the
    conditions and needs of each class. Overall, students' noble character is in the medium
    category due to exemplary factors, student awareness, family upbringing, cooperation
    of various parties, environment, and social media.
