Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya sikap toleransi siswa yang disebabkan oleh beberapa hal yaitu kurangnya kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya sikap saling menghargai satu sama lain, perilaku teman sebaya yang kurang supportive, dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui gambaran sikap toleransi siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar sebelum diberi perlakuan. (2) Mengetahui gambaran sikap toleransi siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar setelah diberi perlakuan. (3) Mengetahui pengaruh dari metode pembelajaran sosiodrama terhadap pembentukan sikap toleransi siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen non-tes dan studi dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Sirnagalih Kecamatan Ngamprah dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 50 % dari populasi, seharusnya 30 siswa namun 1 orang tidak hadir sehingga menjadi 29 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran sosiodrama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pembentukan sikap toleransi siswa kelas VA di SD Negeri Sirnagalih. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perbedaan sikap toleransi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan, yang asalnya berada pada kategori rendah menjadi sedang. Dikuatkan dengan uji hipotesis yang memiliki nilai signifikansi (0,002) kurang dari taraf signifikansi (0,05) dan uji N-gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan serta uji regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan 〖(r〗^2) sebesar 0,259 atau dengan kata lain metode pembelajaran sosiodrama memberi pengaruh 25,90 % terhadap pembentukan sikap toleransi siswa. This research was motivated by the low tolerance of students caused by several things, namely the lack of student awareness of the importance of mutual respect for each other, less supportive peer behavior, and the selection of learning methods that are not in accordance with the learning material delivered. This study aims to: (1) Determine the picture of tolerance attitude of grade V students in elementary school before being given treatment. (2) Know the description of the tolerance attitude of grade V students in elementary school after being given treatment. (3) Knowing the influence of sociodrama learning methods on the formation of tolerance attitudes of grade V students in elementary schools. This research is a pre-experimental quantitative research with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection tools used in this study were non-test instruments and documentation studies. The population of this study was grade V students at SD Negeri Sirnagalih Ngamprah District with a total of 60 students. The sample used as much as 50 % of the population, should be 30 students but 1 person didn’t attend so that it became 29 students. The result of this study is that the sociodrama learning method has a significant effect on the formation of tolerance attitudes of VA class students at SD Negeri Sirnagalih. This is shown by differences in tolerance attitudes before and after treatment, which was originally in the low to medium category. Strengthened by a hypothesis test that has a significance value (0.002) less than the significance level (0.05) and the N-gain test shows an increase and a simple linear regression test shows 0.259 or in other words the sociodrama learning method has an influence of 25.90% on the formation of student tolerance attitudes.〖(r〗^2)
