Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang dibuat kurang menarik dan tahan lama karena terbuat dari bahan-bahan yang mudah rusak. Selain itu, media pembelajaran belum cukup interaktif dan memfasilitasi keberagaman karakteristik siswa. Sehingga penulis mencoba mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang berdiferensiasi, sehingga seluruh siswa dengan keberagamannya dapat terfasilitasi dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PPE atau Planning, Production and Evaluation yang dikemukakan oleh Richey and Klein (2007). Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah (1) Media pembelajaran yang digunakan saat ini kurang menarik dan mudah rusak, sehingga pengembangan media Busy Book 5 in 1 menjadi salah satu jawaban. (2) Melalui uji validasi, media Busy Book 5 in 1 mendapatkan kategori Sangat Valid dengan persentase 91,6% dari ahli materi, 100% dari ahli media, 80% dari ahli bahasa dan 100% dari guru sebagai ahli pembelajaran. (3) Media Busy Book 5 in 1dapat memiliki fleksibilitas tinggi karena dapat digunakan oleh individu, kelompok kecil ataupun kelompok besar (kelas), karena terdapat tiga versi, yakni cetak, aplikasi dan website. The problem that underlies this research is the limitations of the learning media used in teaching activities. The created learning media is less attractive and durable because it is made of easily damaged materials. In addition, the learning media is not interactive enough and does not facilitate the diversity of student characteristics. Therefore, the author attempts to develop differentiated learning media so that all students, with their diversities, can be well facilitated. This research uses the PPE method, which was proposed by Richey and Klein (2007), which stands for Planning, Production, and Evaluation. The results of this research are as follows: (1) The current learning media used is less attractive and easily damaged, hence the development of the Busy Book 5 in 1 media becomes one of the answers. (2) Through validation testing, the Busy Book 5 in 1 media obtained the category of Very Valid with a percentage of 91.6% from content experts, 100% from media experts, 80% from language experts, and 100% from teachers as learning experts. (3) The Busy Book 5 in 1 media can have high flexibility as it can be used by individuals, small groups, or large groups (classes) due to the availability of three versions, namely print, application, and website.
