Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh salah satu pengembangan keterampilan pada abad 21 yaitu keterampilan kognitif siswa. Keterampilan kognitif dibutuhkan sebagai keterampilan mendasar untuk mencapai pembelajaran dalam ranah kognitif. Oleh karena itu, siswa diharapkan dapat memperoleh pengetahuan dengan cara yang kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan model pembelajaran Project-based learning terhadap kreativitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi alternatif di kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. Penelitian ini memiliki sampel sebanyak 34 siswa pada salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 15 soal pilihan ganda dan indikator penilaian produk kreatif yang di modifikasi berdasarkan model Creative Product Analysis Matrix. Aspek yang dinilai pada produk kreatif yaitu novelty, resolution, dan elaboration. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pada hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hasil belajar kognitif dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan signifikansi 0,000. Selanjutnya hasil belajar kognitif dianalisis menggunakan n-gain dan effect size. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan n-gain, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa melalui model pembelajaran Project-based Learning yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 0,55. Untuk analisis effect size, diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,204684 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, sehingga model PjBL memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Sedangkan untuk kreativitas siswa termasuk kedalam kriteria yang cukup kreatif berdasarkan lima produk kreatif yang dibuat oleh siswa. Secara umum model PjBL memiliki pengaruh dalam peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dan kreativitas siswa. This research is motivated by one of the skill developments in the 21st century, namely students' cognitive skills. Cognitive skills are essential for achieving learning in the cognitive domain. Therefore, students are expected to acquire knowledge in a creative way. This study aims to identify the implementation of Project-based learning on students' creativity and learning outcomes in alternative energy materials in grade X. This research uses a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sample consists of 34 students from a public high school in Bandung City. The instruments used in this study were 15 multiple-choice questions and indicators of creative product assessment, which were modified based on the Creative Product Analysis Matrix model. The aspects assessed in the creative product are novelty, resolution, and elaboration. The results of the study show that there’s a difference in the average cognitive learning outcomes of students. Cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using paired sample t-test with a significance of 0.000. Furthermore, cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using n-gain. Based on the analysis using n-gain, there is an improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes through project-based learning, which falls into the moderate category at 0.55. For effect size analysis, a value of 0.204684 is obtained which is included in the medium category. It can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. As for students' creativity, it falls into the category of moderately creative based on the five creative products created by the students. In general, the project-based learning model has an influence on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes and creativity
