Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan materi aturan di sekolahku. Hal ini dikarenakan belum adanya media yang memantik peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan materi aturan di sekolahku. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran mading digital Padlet untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Branch, melalui lima tahap yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Hasil penilaian validasi ahli berupa angket dengan presentase ahli materi sebesar 96%, ahli media sebesar 83%, ahli bahasa sebesar 88,8%, dan ahli pembelajaran sebesar 100%. Hasil presentase rata-rata perolehan skor dari semua ahli sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat baik. Uji coba terbatas mading digital Padlet dilakukan kepada peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar melalui pre test dan post test. Hasil uji coba mading digital Padlet menunjukan peningkatan hasil pre test dan post test dari rata- rata 55,8 menjadi 90. Hasil uji N-gain dari pre test dan post test menunjukan nilai 78% dengan kategori efektif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli dan uji N-gain, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran mading digital Padlet layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students in learning Citizenship Education, specifically in the topic of rules at school. There has been a lack of media that stimulates students to think critically in the learning of Citizenship Education on the subject of rules at school. Based on this, the purpose of this research is to develop a digital bulletin board learning media using Padlet to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary school. Based on this, the aim of this study is to develop the Padlet digital bulletin board as a learning medium to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method used in this study is the Design and Development (D&D) method, developed by Branch, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of expert validation in the form of questionnaires showed a percentage of 96% for content experts, 83% for media experts, 88.8% for language experts, and 100% for learning experts. The average percentage of scores obtained from all experts was 92%, indicating an excellent category. The Padlet digital bulletin board learning media was also piloted with a limited number of fifth-grade elementary school students using pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the Padlet digital bulletin board pilot study showed an improvement in the pre-test and post-test scores from an average of 55.8 to 90. Additionally, the N-gain test conducted on the pre-test and post-test scores showed a value of 78%, indicating an effective category. It can be said that the development of the Padlet digital bulletin board learning media is considered suitable for use and can enhance the critical thinking abilities of fifth- grade elementary school students.
