Abstract

Pendidikan kebencanaan bagi anak usia dini masih minim. Padahal, kebutuhan tersebut harus menjadi perhatian bersama karena tingginya angka bencana yang terjadi di Indonesia. Bencana tidak bisa dihindari namun dapat dikurangi jika masyarakat memiliki informasi yang relatif tentang pengenalan kebencanaan sehingga dapat membentuk pribadi anak yang peka terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik berupa sliding book terkait pengenalan kebencamaan untuk anak usia dini terutama anak usia 5-6 Tahun. Pengembangan media sliding book menghasilkan buku interaktif dengan tiga seri yaitu kebencanaan gampa bumi, banjir, dan longsor yang dikembangkan dengan illustrasi yang menarik dan penuh warna. Metode yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan model Plomp. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil analisis lembar observasi dan wawancara kebutuhan produk oleh guru dan respon peserta didik terkait media yang dikembangkan serta tanggapan para ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media. Sementara data kuantitatif didapatkan dari analisis angket ahli materi dan ahli media, respon guru serta hasil serangkaian uji coba dilapangan. Dalam penelitian ini menyatakan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan skor 51 dan 58 dengan persentase 85% dan 96,6%. Nilai tersebut jika di interpretasi berada dalam kategori sangat layak, sedangkan hasil penilaian respon dari kepala sekolah dan guru mendapatkan skor interpretasi dengan kategori sangat layak. Tanggapan dari enam orang peserta didik sangat positif. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media sliding book yang dilengkapi dengan beberapa aktivitas mengenalkan kebencanaan dapat memberikan kesempatan pada anak untuk mengenal kebencanaan juga menstimulus aspek perkembangan dan meningkatkan antusias peserta didik untuk belajar dengan aktif. -------------- Disaster education for early childhood is still minimal. In fact, this need must become a common concern because of the high number of disasters that have occurred in Indonesia. Disasters cannot be avoided but can be reduced if the community has relatively information about disaster recognition so that it can form a child's personality that is sensitive to the environment. This study aims to develop an interesting learning media in the form of a sliding book related to the introduction of disaster for early childhood, especially children aged 5-6 years. The development of sliding book media produces interactive books with three series, namely earthquake, flood and landslide disasters which are developed with attractive and colorful illustrations. The method used is Educational Design Research (EDR) with the Plomp model. Qualitative data were obtained from the analysis of the observation sheets and product needs interviews by teachers and students' responses regarding the media being developed as well as the responses of experts, namely material experts and media experts. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained from questionnaire analysis by material experts and media experts, teacher responses and the results of a series of field trials. In this study, the results of validation by material experts and media experts obtained scores of 51 and 58 with percentages of 85% and 96.6%. This value, if interpreted, is in the very feasible category, while the results of the assessment of the response from the principal and teacher get an interpretation score in the very feasible category. Responses from six students were very positive. The implication of this study is that the use of sliding book media which is equipped with several activities to introduce disaster can provide an opportunity for children to get to know disaster as well as stimulate aspects of development and increase the enthusiasm of students to learn actively.
