Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan media yang masih belum bervariasi untuk digunakan di TK yang berada di daerah Jatinangor untuk menstimulus karakter mandiri dan literasi kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun. Akibatnya peserta didik mengalami hambatan dalam perkembangan dan kemampuan literasi kritisnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti melakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa interactive activity book sebagai alat bantu guru dalam menstimulasi perkembangan kemandirian dan literasi kritis untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangan media, mengetahui hasil uji materi dan media dan mengetahui hasil uji coba media. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research dengan model Plomp. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru, wawancara dan observasi terbatas terhadap peserta didik. Hasil validasi untuk aspek materi memperoleh skor 24 dengan presentase sebesar 75% (Layak) sedangkan untuk aspek media memperoleh skor 40 dengan presentase sebesar 100% (Sangat Layak). Selanjutnya untuk respon dari guru kelas memperoleh skor 36 dengan presentase sebesar 90% (Sangat Layak) sedangkan untuk respon kepala sekolah memperoleh skor 40 dengan presentase 100% (Sangat Layak). Tanggapan dari tujuh orang peserta didik menunjukan respon positif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi peserta didik terlihat menyukai media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Pengembangan media menghasilkan interactive activity book yang mengandung beberapa cerita serta kegiatan untuk menstimulus kemandirian dan literasi kritis anak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interactive activity book layak digunakan sebagai media untuk menstimulus perkembangan kemandirian dan literasi kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun, namun dengan saran dan perbaikan. --------- This research is motivated by the use of media that is still not varied to be used in kindergartens in the Jatinangor area to stimulate the independent character and critical literacy of children aged 5-6 years. As a result, students experience obstacles in their development and critical literacy skills. Based on this, researchers developed learning media in the form of interactive activity books as a teacher's tool in stimulating the development of independence and critical literacy for children aged 5-6 years. The purpose of this study was to develop media, determine the results of material and media testing and determine the results of media trials. This research uses the Educational Design Research method with the Plomp model. The instruments and data collection techniques used are expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, interviews and limited observations of students. The validation results for the material aspect obtained a score of 24 with a percentage of 75% (Feasible) while for the media aspect obtained a score of 40 with a percentage of 100% (Very Feasible). Furthermore, the response from the class teacher obtained a score of 36 with a percentage of 90% (Very Feasible) while for the principal's response obtained a score of 40 with a percentage of 100% (Very Feasible). Responses from seven students showed a positive response. Based on the results of observations, students seemed to like the media developed by researchers. Media development produces interactive activity books that contain several stories and activities to stimulate children's independence and critical literacy. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive activity book media is suitable for use as a medium to stimulate the development of independence and critical literacy of children aged 5-6 years, but with suggestions and improvements.
