Abstract
ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan indikator keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar, karena kemampuan tersebut memungkinkan siswa untuk memahami pembelajaran lebih mendalam karena hal tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan untuk tujuan mengetahui Perbandingan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan Discovery Learning Dalam Pembelajaran Geografi Terhadap Tingkat Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas XI IPS Di SMA Negeri Cianjur Tahun 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Ips di SMA Negeri 1 Cilaku – Cianjur dan MAN 1 Cianjur. Sampel pada penelitian ini setiap sekolah mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 30 orang pada setiap kelas. Dalam pengambilan sampel peneliti menggunakan teknik Sampling Purposive. Penelitian ini menggunakan intrument menggunakan tes yaitu preTest dan PosTest. PreTest dilakukan sebelum diberikan perlakuan sedangkan PosTest dilakukan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh pada kelas ekperimen terhadap tingkat berpikir kritis siswa, karena hasil posttest lebih baik dari pretest.dan terdapat pengaruh pada kelas kontrol terhadap tingkat berpikir kritis siswa, karena hasil postest lebih baik daripada pretest. Terdapat perbedaan pada kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. ABSTRACT The ability to think critically is an indicator of student success in learning, because this ability allows students to understand learning more deeply because of this this research was conducted for the purpose of knowing Comparisons of Inquiry Learning Models with Discovery Learning in Geography Learning Against the Level of Critical Thinking of Class XI IPS Students in SMA Negeri Cianjur Year 2022/2023. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Cilaku – Cianjur and MAN 1 Cianjur. The sample in this study was that each school took two classes as a sample, totaling 30 people in each class. In taking the sample, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. This study uses an instrument using a test, namely the pretest and posttest. PreTest was carried out before being given treatment while PostTest was carried out after being given treatment. The results of this study showed that the experimental class had an effect on students' critical thinking levels, because the results of the posttest were better than the pretest. And there was an influence in the control class on students' critical thinking levels, because the posttest results were better than the pretest. There are differences in the experimental class and the control class, namely the experimental class is better than the control class
