Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran dalam menstimulus kecerdasan logika matematika anak usia 5-6 tahun. Akibatnya, anak pada rentang usia 5-6 tahun mengalami hambatan pada perkembangan kecerdasan logika matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa Play Book Combination yang merupakan sebuah media buku cerita bergambar kombinasi Quiet Book yang bertujuan untuk menstimulasi kecerdasan logika matematika pada anak usia 5- 6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research dengan model Plomp. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru, lembar observasi anak, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian diproses secara kuantitatif melalui presentase skala likert dan kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan variasi media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam menstimulus kecerdasan logika matematika anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasil validasi pada aspek materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 94,44% (sangat layak) sedangkan untuk aspek media memperoleh persentase 80% (layak). Uji coba terbatas terhadap enam anak menunjukkan respon positif. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba penggunaan media terhadap anak didik mencapai keberhasilan 82,29% anak mengalami perkembangan dalam kecerdasan logika matematika setelah menggunakan media Play Book Combination. Pengembangan media menghasilkan Play Book Combination yang mengandung cerita bergambar dilengkapi permainan sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Play Book Combination yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media untuk menstimulasi kecerdasan logika matematika anak usia 5-6 tahun. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media Play Book Combination dapat meningkatkan rasa antusias belajar dan menarik perhatian anak didik. ------ This research is motivated by the lack of learning media in stimulating the mathematical logic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. As a result, children in the 5-6 year age range experience obstacles in the development of mathematical logic intelligence. Based on this, the researcher developed learning media in the form of PlayBook Combination which is a picture story book combination Quiet Book media that stimulate mathematical logical intelligence in children aged 5-6 years. This study used the Educational Design Research method with the Plomp model. The instruments and data collection techniques used were expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, children's observation sheets, documentation, and interviews. The data collected is then processed quantitatively through Likert scale percentages and qualitatively through data reduction, and data presentation to draw conclusions. The purpose of this research is to develop a variety of learning media that can be used to stimulate the mathematical logic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The validation results on the material aspect obtained a percentage of 94.44% (very decent) while for the media aspect, it obtained a percentage of 80% (decent). A Limited trial of six children showed a positive response. Based on the results of testing the use of media on students, 82,29% of children achieved success in developing mathematical logical intelligence after using the PlayBook Combination media. Media development produces a Play Book Combination which contains illustrated stories and simple games. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed Play Book Combination media is suitable to be used as a medium to stimulate the mathematical logic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The implication of this research is that the use of Play Book Combination media can increase the enthusiasm for learning and attract the attention of students.
