Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari masalah belum berkembangnya kemampuan motorik halus anak. Perkembangan motorik halus anak yaitu koordinasi halus yang melibatkan otot kecil. Stimulasi yang digunakan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus anak dalam penelitian ini menggunakan media mozaik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media mozaik terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimen Design. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan uji Paired T Test dimana tujuan dari uji ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media mozaik terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak dari sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment baik pada kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan media yang berbeda. Media yang dimaksud yaitu media mozaik pada kelompok eksperimen dan media konvensional pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai rata rata yang diperoleh dari kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi yaitu sebesar 22.00 sedangkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh nilai rata rata sebesar 19.14. Selain itu, hasil peningkatan juga diperkuat dengan menggunakan uji Paired T test yang mana pada kelompok eksperimen hasil t hitung sebesar -9.872 < 2.447 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol hasil t hitung sebesar -12.050 < 2.447. Hasil dari perhitungan data dapat membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media mozaik terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. ------ This research is motivated by the problem of the underdeveloped fine motor skills of children. The development of children's fine motor skills, namely fine coordination involving small muscles. The stimulation utilized to determine the development of children's fine motor skills in this research used mosaic media. This research aimed to determine the effect of mosaic media on fine motor skills of early childhood. This study is a form of quantitative research employing a Quasi Experimental Design research design. The Paired T Test was used to analyze data in this research. The goal of this test was to examine the influence of mosaic media on children's fine-motor skills before and after treatment in both the experimental and control groups utilizing different media. In the experimental group, mosaic media is used, while in the control group, conventional medium is used. The result of this research showed that the average value acquired by the experimental group was higher, precisely 22.00, whereas the control group had an average value of 19.14. Furthermore, the Paired T Test was used to enhance the results of the rise, with the experimental group's t count results being -9.872 < 2.447 and the control group's t count results being -12.050 < 2.447. Accordingly, the results of calculating the data can prove that there is an influence from the use of mosaic media on the fine motor skills of early childhood.
