Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang tersedianya variasi media pembelajaran yang mampu menambah pengetahuan siswa terhadap materi pemanfaatan dan pelestarian sumber daya alam serta kurang tertariknya siswa pada proses pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang mampu menambah pengetahuan siswa terhadap materi sumber daya alam serta menarik minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis Google sites pada materi pemanfaatan dan pelestarian sumber daya alam bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat untuk kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dilakukan melalui lima tahapan utama yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Hasil uji kelayakan media Google sites mendapatkan mendapatkan interpretasi “sangat layak” dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media. Respon pengguna yakni guru dan siswa kelas IV SD terhadap media Google sites mendapatkan mendapatkan interpretasi “sangat layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS berdasarkan aspek kualitas isi, kualitas instruksional dan kualitas teknis. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan, media pembelajaran berbasis Google sites layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pemanfaatan dan pelestarian sumber daya bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat pada pembelajaran IPS. Media Google sites membantu mempermudah dalam memahami materi serta menambah pengetahuan terhadap materi pemanfaatan dan pelestarian sumber daya alam karena materi ajar disajikan dengan berbagai format media seperti gambar, audio, video, komik, dan evaluasi dalam bentuk permainan. Sehingga membuat siswa merasa bersemangat dan adanya ketertarikan dalam belajar. ------ This research is a design and development project that aims to produce learning media based on Google sites on the utilization and preservation of natural resources for community welfare in 4th grade elementary school. This is motivated by the lack of availability of various learning media that are able to increase students' knowledge of the material utilization and preservation of natural resource materials and the low interest in student learning in the social studies learning process. This design and development research uses the ADDIE model, which is carried out through five main stages: Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The results of Google sites media development get a "very good" interpretation from the assessment of material experts, linguists and media experts. Based on the results of the assessment and user responses, teachers and fourth grade students of elementary schools media Google sites in social studies learning materials on the use and preservation of natural resources for the welfare of the community get the interpretation of "very good" for use in social studies learning based on aspects of content quality, instructional quality and technical quality. Based on the data obtained, learning media based on Google sites is suitable for use in learning the use and preservation of resources for the welfare of the community in social studies learning. Google sites help make it easier to understand the material and increase knowledge about the material for the use and preservation of natural resources because teaching materials are presented in various media formats such as images, audio, video, comics, and evaluation in the form of games. Students feel excited and interested in learning process.
