Abstract

Diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) memiliki beralaskan selama berlangsungnya mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMK Al-Amiin terus menerus dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, hanya mengandalkan satu arah dari guru sehingga hanya beberapa siswa yang berani untuk menyampaikan ketika tidak ada yang dimengerti, dan yang diharapkan dari pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris adalah adanya jalinan hubungan siswa, guru, dan lingkungan belajar karena pada model pembelajaran ini menekankan siswa untuk senantiasa berkomunikasi untuk terciptanya aktivitas kerja sama, selain itu disampaikan bahwa siswa kelas X di SMK Al-Amiin memiliki minat belajar yang rendah pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris karena tidak mudah untuk dipahami. Penelitian ini memiliki arah tuju agar dapat menyadari dan menganalisis efektivitas dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) terhadap peningkatan minat belajar dan kerja sama siswa, dengan diberlakukannya pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen yang dipakai ialah berbentuk isian angket sebelum dan setelah diberikannya treatment, dengan jumlah pernyataan 28 butir pernyataan yang diberikan kepada sampel penelitian sejumlah 24 siswa. Oleh karena itu, setelah terselesaikan pengambilan sampai dengan pengolahan, berkesimpulan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dapat memberikan kenaikan minat belajar dan kerja sama siswa, dengan keterangan isian angket sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) pada aspek minat belajar adalah 3,87 dan 4,15 sedangkan untuk aspek kerja sama adalah 4,13 dan 4,25. The application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model has a basis during English subjects at SMK Al-Amiin continuously using the conventional learning model, relying only on one direction from the teacher so that only a few students dare to convey when nothing is understood, and what is expected from learning in English subjects is the intertwining of students, teachers, and the learning environment because this learning model emphasizes students to always communicate for the creation of cooperative activities, in addition, it was conveyed that class X students at SMK Al-Amiin have a low interest in learning English subjects because they are not easy to understand. This research has a direction to be able to realize and analyze the effectiveness the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model to increase student interest in learning and cooperation, with the introduction of quantitative approaches and descriptive research methods. The instrument used was in the form of questionnaire fillings before and after the treatment, with a total of 28 statements given to a research sample of 24 students. Therefore, after completion of the collection until processing, it is concluded that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning in the aspect of learning interest is 3,87 and 4,15 while for the cooperation aspect is 4,13 and 4,25.
