Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah yang menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi kurang bermakna sehingga kebanyakan peserta didik kurang memiliki minat dalam mempelajari sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah media sebagai produk pendidikan yang akan digunakan di sekolah yaitu, berupa media buku digital dengan materi peninggalan sejarah Kesultanan Islam di Indonesia untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan tahapan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analysis, Design, Develepoment, Implementation, and Evaluation. Proses validasi media buku digital peninggalan sejarah kesultanan Islam di Indonesia ini melibatkan ahli materi, ahli sejarah, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media serta respon dari pengguna. Hasil penilaian dari segi materi dengan presentase skor 85% berada pada kategori “sangat layak”, segi sejarah sebanyak 94% berada pada kategori “sangat layak”, segi bahasa sebanyak 93% berada pada kategori “sangat layak”, dan juga segi media sebanyak 98% berada kategori “sangat layak”. Kemudian respon pengguna dilakukan kepada tiga orang guru dan 21 orang peserta didik diperoleh hasil presentase sebanyak 93,1% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa media buku digital materi peninggalan sejarah kesultanan Islam di Indonesia sudah sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas IV sekolah dasar. ----- This research is based on the limited use of media in the history learning process which causes learning to be less meaningful, so that most students lack interest in studying history. This study aims to create a media as an educational product that will be used in schools, namely, in the form of digital book media with material from the history of the Islamic Sultancy in Indonesia for the fourth grade of elementary school. This study uses the type of research Design and Development (D&D) by using the stages of the ADDIE model consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The process of validating digital book media from the history of the Islamic Sultancy in Indonesia involves material experts, historians, linguists, and media experts as well as user responses. The results of the assessment in terms of material with a percentage score of 85% are in the "very decent" category, in terms of history as much as 94% are in the "very decent" category, in terms of language as much as 93% are in the "very decent" category, and also in terms of media as much as 98 % is in the “very decent” category. Then the user response was carried out to three teachers and 21 students, the percentage results were 93,1% in the "very decent" category. These results indicate that the digital book media of material historical heritage of the Islamic Sultancy in Indonesia is very feasible used in social studies learning for grade IV elementary schools.
