Abstract
Penggunaan media pembelajaran diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Media berfungsi untuk membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Di era pandemi ini dengan durasi pembelajaran yang berkurang podcast mampu membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran podcast format wawancara terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Post Test Only Control Group Design. Variable dalam penelitian ini yaitu podcast format wawancara dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Indikator hasil belajar yaitu ketercapaian nilai kognitif dan juga nilai psikomotor. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI IPS 3 dan kelas XI IPS 4 dengan jumlah peserta didik 71 peserta didik. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes penilaian, tugas dan persentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelas eksperimen mengalami perubahan hasil belajar sebesar 15,6% dari nilai rata-rata 71,85 menjadi 83,09 dengan nilai uji hipotesis sebesar -3.526 < 1.688 sehingga terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran podcast format wawancara terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami perubahan hasil belajar sebesar 9,7% dari nilai rata-rata 70,12 menjadi 77,1 dengan uji hipoteses sebesar -7.893 < 1.690 sehingga terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran konvensioanl terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Perbedaan hasil uji hipotesis antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol ialah -0.137 sehingga terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Learning media are required for the learning process. Media assists teachers in delivering material and trying to improve student learning outcomes. Podcasts can help teachers deliver learning materials with a shorter learning duration in this pandemic era. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of using Podcasts as learning media in interview format on student learning outcomes. This study applied experimental research methods with Post Test Only Control Group Design. These variables were podcast interview formats and student learning outcomes. Achievement of cognitive and psychomotor values were indicators of learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were 71 students from classes XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4. The research instruments used assessment tests, tasks, and percentages. The data was analyzed using a normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test (t-test). The results showed that the experimental class experienced a 15.6% increase in learning outcomes from an average score of 71.85 to 83.09, with a hypothesis test value of -3,526 < 1,688 indicating podcast interview format had an effect on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the control class improved by 9.7%, from an average score of 70.12 to 77.1 learning outcomes, with a hypothesis test of -7,893 < 1,690, indicating that the use of conventional learning media had no effect on student learning outcomes. The difference in hypothesis test results between the experimental class and the control class was -0.137, so there was no difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.
